Yeah sure, because your most over superstar definitely belongs lost in the shuffle of a multi man match rather than in a proper feud. Great theory. As opposed to a match maybe three people want to see? Yes. Still one more than the 'huge' amount of fans asking for Bryan in a x multi man ladder match for as a second grade consolation prize. How dare I even entertain the thought that they'd put a singles match in at mania as the culmination of a long and storied history. Why don't we just chuck all the battle royal contestants into the ladder match while we're at it? It seems logic went out the door a long time ago.

Well I'm glad you can speak for the majority without checking that by everyone. Horrendous booking is cramming matches in a 1-2 week period to solve an issue relating to a superstar being taken out for months. Especially when you can easily use that for said superstar if you have NO plans for them at the biggest show of the year. Horrible booking is inserting Bryan in a random ladder match and killing any momentum and moment for Ambrose. Horrible booking is if Ambrose wins, Bryan looks like an amateur fool who can't defeat talent below him and would repeat the errors of the rumble on an even more pathetic scale. It's the same logic as chucking hbk, Austin or rock into a battle royal at mania during their prime and you can't deny that as much as you refuse to acknowledge any valid point I've made simply because YOU don't like the idea of this singles match. There has been no other sensible solution put forward that has the storyline backing.

When Hogan had the World Heavyweight Championship, Savage or Warrior had the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship.
When Steve Austin had the World Heavyweight Championship, The Rock had the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship.
Yes, it's referred to as the "work horse" championship for the RVDs, Chris Jerichos, Mr Perfects and Dolph Zigglers of the world. But, ultimately, its history is of being whatever one of the two or three top guys were doing when they weren't in the World Heavyweight Championship picture.
It's not that the title is beneath anyone, because the title is made by the person holding it, not the other way around. Look at the value the WWE World Heavyweight Championship has on Brock Lesnar's waist compared with when John Cena has it. Or how much value the United States Heavyweight Championship has on Rusev's waist compared to Kofi Kingston.
If Daniel Bryan has the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship, he will make it television gold because that's what he does no matter where he is on the card.

As much as I hate Bryan being passed over for that... ugh for Roman Reigns, seeing him ala RVD ECW Champion would be pretty cool. Taking on all comers for no other reason than that he's a fighting champion, main eventing Smackdown every week with a 20 minute match, headlining house shows, ect.

The problem with the match is that it's the King of the Losers match. Bad News, Ambrose, Harper and Truth have been shown as nothing but losers for the last 6-12 months. As if losses matter in WWE anymore.

When guys like Rock, Savage, Bret, Warrior etc held the IC title it was usually on their way up the card. Very few top stars have gone from the big one to the IC title, the only guys I can think of are Shawn and Jericho. They should be careful not to keep him on the IC level too long, as Bryan is such a fresh star who was legitimised only 1 year ago. Honestly he should have been given a cushy place on the card with Ziggler or Sheamus. I don't expect Bryan to win the IC title anyway but it's something they need to be careful with. It'd take a lot to degrade Daniel to being a midcarder now, but keeping him on the IC level for a prolonged period could do just that. Bret nixed an IC title run in 97 because he was above the IC belt, and because The Rock needed it more (plus it was HHH-booked trying to keep Bret out of the spotlight).

Its really really stupid to have Bryan in this ing match. I'm sorry. It's beneath him and does nothing for anyone other than the writers because they don't have to put any thought into a storyline as usual.

Ziggler vs Bryan probably should have happened since they could not put Bryan in the main event.
Of course Sheamus would have been a good possibility as well but I would rather see Bryan/Ziggler.
Now that he is likely in this 6 or 8 (maybe 9 or 10 because 9 is an odd number?) way IC Title Ladder match Idk what they are going to do..
Ambrose should have been the next champion but if they really want to try and elevate the IC Title then I could see Bryan winning it and keeping it for a long time, at least until they wise up and push him for the WWE WHT.
We'll see soon enough I guess. ATM my money is still on Ambrose.

Its not ideal for Daniel Bryan to be in a multiple man match at Wrestlemania and for the IC Title.A huge step down from where he was at last years Wrestlemania. However on paper and so far with the build this IC Title match has been the best built and the match I am most looking forward to.I hope and think the only out come of this match is for Bryan to win the IC Title and to go on a long run as champion where he brings back the prestige of the title.I know most will think its a step down for him to be IC Champion but many former WWE Champions and main eventers have gone from the WWE Title picture back down and had runs as IC champion like Triple H,Jericho,Miz,JBL,Big Show,Kane....ect and in the old WCW nearly everyone went from being WCW champion back down to the US TItle level.

its no so much Bryan being in the match its that this company is too ing stupid and stuck in the 1980's when it comes to things where there is NO REASON Bryan shouldn't be a top guy. Bryan is better than Reigns in absolutely every single possible way. He is just flat out BETTER. And you have arena's full of people going mental every time the guy does anything great. But yeah, Reigns. it's just complete trash. It's like everything revolves around one guy at a time, and everyone else is just meh whatever put em anywhere, its a completely primitive way to run a wrestling program. for the 500 steps forward they've taken in overall talent.....they take 3000 steps backwards with their horrendous booking decisions.

The picture on WWE.com also only shows 6 spots. They can always add spots to an image. Or remove guys. Who knows with this company.

Yeah I figured it would be 8 although I guess Bryan and Sheamus could have a 1 on 1 match and the two from Smackdown would be added to the core four of Ziggler/Barrett/Ambrose/Truth although if they both got added then it would be 6 but Harper is pretty much confirmed so that would be an odd number of 7 (or 9 if Sheamus/Bryan were back in). It is just a cluster and WWE needs to 100% have the participants confirmed this upcoming Raw and for sure figure out what to do with Bryan at WM 31..

I just think there isn't room on the Card for another big Singles feud, which is why Bryan is being bumped to the Intercontinental Championship Match. Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus would work great though as what way to create an instantly over heel than by putting him up against everyone's much loved Daniel Bryan. The problem is though that we already have Lesnar vs Reigns, Cena vs Rusev, Undertaker vs Wyatt, Triple H vs Sting and Rollins vs Orton.

The issue with him being in a multi-man ladder match is that he's the most over person on the roster, and has been for well over a year. At Wrestlemania, you showcase your brightest stars on the biggest stage possible. You have a unanimous hero, chosen by the crowd, and loved by die-hards, casuals, kids, and everyone in between. In no logical universe is that guy placed in "creative has nothing for you" ladder match at the biggest show of the year.
No excuse is justifiable. We know exactly how WWE feels about the Intercontinental Championship. It's not the Intercontinental title of yesteryear. It doesn't build stars anymore. It's a paper trophy for the guys that they don't know what to do with, and if you're trying to make yourself believe anything else, then I don't know what to tell you.
The whole "the card is too stacked" argument is such bullcrap. You make a prominent spot for for, at worst, your number two guy. You just do it. You don't let him fall by the wayside.
