He's been a very bad champion so it would make zero sense for him to keep the title. Also he doesn't draw like he did in 2012 and he has been basically a no show transition champion so him keeping the title would be bad for business. You clearly don't understand the business. He's been a fantastic champion. Brock being off TV had made his appearances and title defenses an event. Seeing the champion is a special event again. But I do think they went overboard and used him too sparingly. It makes perfect sense to keep the title on him. He gets mainstream press coverage, which Vince is always after. What evidence do you have that he isn't drawing as well as he used to? He only defended the title twice since he won it. If he defended every PPV it would've been a huge deal for the guy who defeated him because basically the unstoppable monster who could not be beaten would be slayed. But the fact that he hardly defends makes him look like a lazy champion that cant be bothered showing up.
As for the drawing I heard that Battleground got more buys than Night of Champions and a few Raw's that didn't feature Brock got more ratings than the ones he was on. Maybe I'm wrong but its what I've seen on other sites.

The problem with this is that Roman is not ready. If he was and it he was really over, they wouldn't have had to spend so much TV time with other people trying to convince us that he really is the guy. Vince is trying to force something that just isn't there yet. If they had waited a year or two they wouldn't have most of these problems. This shouldn't be Roman's year. I know there are some that don't want to hear this but it's Bryan's year again. Who else is more over? Brock vs Bryan is ing money. It's what the majority of the fans seem to want. A serious question. How in real life could Bryan defeat Brock Lesnar? Lesnar ended the streak and basically destroyed Cena at Summerslam so how could Bryan ever stand a chance against him?
Also would Lesnar want to lose to Bryan? Think about it if Lesnar is going back to UFC would he be happy going back after losing his last wrestling match to a man half his size?
No offence to Bryan and I'm a fan but him against Brock wouldn't be a believable match.
This is professional wrestling, not a real fight. It's all about suspending disbelief. Do you think every world champion of every promotion ever was the toughest guy in the company? And judging by Brock's feelings toward wrestling, I am 1,000% certain that he would not care about putting anyone over. Why? Because this crap isn't real. It doesn't matter. Brock could lose the title to Linda McMahon and it wouldn't affect his standing in UFC. The win/lose record of fake fights means nothing when you start having real fights.

I don't understand why people don't "get" the concept that Brock beating Taker and Cena was so that a guy like Roman could benefit from it. The WWE didn't just give Brock arguably the strongest booking ever over the past year so that Seth could cash in MITB on him. Brock ended the streak. Saying he dominated Cena would be an understatement. How does Roman loosing and Seth cashing in MITB benefit anyone? Roman doesn't gain anything and Seth still looks like a typical cowardly heel. I've said it before but if Brock resigns for another year then I think it would benefit Roman to loose, go on a year-long redemption run like Shawn in '95, and beat Brock next year. However, Brock seems to be gone after WM. I think it is too soon for Roman to be the top guy but since Brock is going Roman NEEDS to beat him. If not then the last year of booking for Brock has no payoff what so ever. I said roman isn't ready. I agree that Bryan should be the man right now. But the WWE has put roman in this position. Someone needs to benefit from Brock's dominance. Roman has a lot more years ahead of him than Bryan. The wwe has put themselves in this corner and the best thing to do is stay the course and have roman win.

If we're going by real life then Haku should have been undefeated forever.

If Vince McMahon really is vindictive, wouldn't it be funny if Brock Lesnar--a part timer--surpassed CM Punk as the longest reigning champion? In Vince's mind, that would eat at Punk as Punk was vocal about Part Timers being used in spots meant for full timers.

Brock should start the longest title reign since Hogan in 1984.

The more I think about it, some of the moves WWE are making this WrestleMania season point all directions to Brock retaining/staying. Reason? Daniel Bryan and John Cena. I fully believe they will put the IC and US titles on them for the fact that when Brock goes away in between his defenses, Cena and Bryan are right there, defending the midcard titles on PPVs. That way they can have selling points and reasons to watch.....Battleground. Maybe I'm crazy, but this may be a reason That doesn't help the IC and US titles. That basically says that Cena and Bryan are settling for the midcard belts because they can't have the WWE Title. If WWE really wants those titles to be relevant again, then they need to have them hold those belts and carry them well While a full time wrestler (even if it's Reigns) has the WWE Title. That way the midcard belts look more prestigious rather than just a consolation prize.

Roman has a lot more years ahead of him than Bryan. The wwe has put themselves in this corner and the best thing to do is stay the course and have roman win. I don't think they should stick with Roman. If Brock is leaving then Seth Rollins needs to cash in and screw him out of the title. That way Roman cash chase Seth and they've got a good angle that carried it's into the summer and fall and gives him time to improve before finally winning the title. It also gives us a proper Shield fall out feud. I still day they should have had a triple threat match, but I digress... If Brock resigns then he needs to win while really putting Roman over. He puts up a valiant fight while taking a savage beating and comes this close to winning the title before inevitably losing. Then he's got a year to improve. He either wins the Rumble again out they find some way to "Daniel Bryan" him into the main event of WM32. The story for that is Roman's redemption. He has to prove that he can win -- to the WWE Universe and to himself. That's a far more completing story than what they're doing now.

I'm expecting him to lose and use his rematch clause the Raw after only to have Rollins cash in.

I've never seen Brock retaining but watching the promo Heyman delivered last week gave me chills like when Heyman tells you something you don't believe but it was true all along.

- Lesnar threatens to leave Mania and the WWE with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after WrestleMania.
- Roman saves the WWE, by defeating Lesnar at WrestleMania for the title and sends Lesnar packing, without the gold.
- Rollins successfully cashes in and ruins Roman's WrestleMania moment. Lesnar is no longer in the picture and Reigns/Rollins continue their feud from before Roman's injury... which has been ruined because of their 9 matches on RAW and SmackDown in 2015, alone.
... third part might not happen, but the other two are. No doubt.

What if this scenario happens.
Brock retains, then the next night on Raw he comes out to cut a promo with Heyman.
They get ready to leave and the lights out go out and you hear the gong.
Undertaker comes out and lays Brock out, leaves and Rollins comes down to cash in and takes the title.

Are people really still trying to pull the "it's not believable" card? That in itself, is unbelievable.

It's not real life, and the history of pro wrestling is filled with examples of the smaller man defeating his much larger opponent. I reccomend you check out Brock vs. Eddie Guerrero to see how it's done. Also, Brock doesn't care one bit whether he wins or loses to anyone. He's never loved the business and doesn't consider himself a "pro wrestler". To him it's a job, and he and you and I all know what he would do to guys like Triple H in a real fight, so who cares if the script says he gets pinned? It's an attitude I admire about him and I think many wrestlers are probably jealous of him being able to have.

Ah Brock vs Eddie. The match WWE tries to make people forget that Brock was winning until the even larger Goldberg came out and hit his finishers...

Ah Brock vs Eddie. The match WWE tries to make people forget that Brock was winning until the even larger Botchberg came out and hit his finishers without injuring someone, which is a miracle in itself... Fixed that for you.

If Brock Lesnar wins at Wrestlemania 31, for me it will be almost as big of a shock as when he ended the Streak. He's set to leave, his run has built up to this point, they have built Reigns as much as they can for this moment. They want him to be the Star for the forseeable future. Even Lesnar beating Undertaker was done in order to build a new Star. If Lesnar wins I would absolutely mark out.

Anyone heard the latest rumour? Apparently Brock is close to resigning, and Trips is pushing for him to keep the belt so that they can put the US on Cena, the IC on Bryan and restore credibility to the belts.
I just want Brock to stay and retain, so that we can finally have Orton vs Lesnar.
