Its still crazy to me that AJ Styles isnt in TNA anymore. I remember watching him in 2004 and being absolutely blown away.

My favorite TNA storyline for AJ Styles was when he was enamored with Karen Angle.

Good for him!
TNA is like an ex girlfriend wanting AJ Styles to come back now and thinking he will after dumping him. Good for AJ for declining the offer.
TNA is now realizing that they need AJ Styles more than AJ Styles needs TNA.

After all the crap they put him through, his entire run in TNA, and the fact, that he's with a company now that really does treat him and his character as being important, they really thought he'd take the offer? I mean hell, even when they put the belt on AJ, it never came off, like they were truly presenting him as the guy in TNA.

Good on AJ. New Japan is the place to be and where he can make the most money possible.

Good for him. IMO he should've been inducted before Team 3D if at all, but with him sticking to his guns I can only applaud him for that - his work in NJPW and ROH is stellar...

To me, AJ Styles was TNA. When he left I for the most part lost interest. At first, I wanted him back in TNA ASAP. But now that I've seen what he's doing with NJPW and ROH, and that he's actually being treated like a star, I never want to see him in TNA again.

At this point, it would be a step backward for AJ.

That was the biggest mistake of their history letting AJ go. He was the John Cena of TNA. He knows TNA is a sinking ship and glad he kept some dignity he has rejecting their offer after TNA treated him so horribly after Dixie brought Hulk Hogan and all his lackies on board.

He could've easily accepted the HOF offer. No need to go back to wrestling for the company, but that's his career and TNA made AJ Styles a name.

Agreed, if it wasn't for TNA I wouldn't have found out about AJ Styles. I don't think people realize on an International level how accessible TNA was compared to other Indy Feds around that time, as in TNA had a TV show and the only way to watch Indy Feds was to order ( at times expensive ) DVD's.

That was going to be my response. I really can't imagine why they thought he would go for it.

Didn't think TNA would extend the offer but can't see it happening until AJ is finished with New Japan.
