They should be interested in hiring younger talent and building them up to be huge stars. That's been my biggest issue with TNA for a long time. For years I wanted TNA to be everything NXT has become. A place for the younger talent to shine. Instead they hire established talent a try to piggyback off their past exposure. Problem is that's only good for short term booking.

Did they not make Bobby Roode, Eric Young, EC3, James Storm, Manik, Bram etc. etc. I just don't understand why they throw huge amounts of money for wrestlers who are passed their prime when they can instead invest that money on younger guys. It's just very poor decisions making and I blame it all on Dixie.

Regardless this will always be the story for TNA:
1) If they push younger talent, most of the time the IWC will complain and say that the product is becoming stale and or they are not booking so and so correctly.
2) If they sign any past performer, its a terrible move.
That being said, Rey Mysterio would be a surprise. But like others have stated, he is simply not needed at this point. I mean where would you put the guy? He's a former World Champ. Would you put him in the X-Division?

Now he's just a shell of his former self And a murderer. Too soon? The part of the world that has common sense would appreciate if you didn't say such stupid crap.

Rey would be a horrible investment. He's too old and too beat up and just can't contribute in the ring enough to justify signing him. They'd get two matches out of him if they were lucky.
Even if they got him a movie or TV deal, a big if there, the guy can't act.

Well if they signed him I would assume right into the main event picture.A title feud between Rey/EC3 would be pretty good. With Rey playing the common man and the guy who work his way up the ladder while EC3 was hand everything to him on a silver plater.Think of EC3 as hybrid between Del Rio/JBL two of the better feuds Rey had in WWE.

Laughable, just laughable. Rey can make a lot more money in AAA and random indy shots then TNA.

Of course they would haha. I can see it from a merchandise standpoint similar to Jeff Hardy. People are going to buy his masks/T-shirts probably kids. But I mean I feel at this point it is limited as to what you can do with him
