I could also see a target HOF 4 pack with 2 tag teams in it but no 2 packs Yes! LOD vs Demolition Hart Foundation vs Rockers Nash Hall ( nWo) vs Sting/ Luger (Wolfpack) Steiners vs Harlem Heat Dudley Boyz vs Edge/Christian Hardys with Lita and Tall Ladder Brothers of Destruction vs APA NAO vs Cactus/Chainsaw Charlie

If they did waves with repaints/new figures with Bushwhackers (2nd hasbro attire) , Rockers in purple tights and then Hart Foundation and no accessories maybe it could work.

They only way I would see them doing tag team elite packs they must have zero accessories and minimal deco for 25 I believe it can be done if they can release 4 elite figures in a set for $50 they sure as hell can make 2-packs for $25

If enough people are willing to pay for them then I don't see why not.

I am all for elite2 packs. But only if there are done right. The Four Horseman's release doesnt mean they can do a 2 pack for half the price. Firstly, 3 were repaints, and one was a developed figure that was basically already tooled (the cost would have been low). Secondly, packaging plays a part in the cost, the more figures u get into a pack the cheaper (per) figure it is going to be. I think if normal elites are 17-22, u could reasonable assume Mattel could get out of a 2 pack for double that minus say 20%. So that puts us close to 35-40 on the higher scale. My thinking would be if each of the 2 packs had 1 repaint, that would keep cost down. I think it's doable, but Mattel might no want to run the risk. RSC should step up and order an exclusive 2 pack (see below).
I don't want tag teams done cheaply. Can u imagine if LOD came without the should pads in an elite 2 pack? That would have sucked. I'm okay with them coming as singles in the same series if the quality keeps up. But I wish we got high quality 2 packs.

Personally, I don't see it happening.

I think it could potentially work if they were $30 with limited or no accessories (at the very least it would save on packaging costs for a 2-pack versus two 1-packs) and if they just did one or two teams per quarter to prevent shelf rot. But the logistics of it might not make sense for Mattel. But the tag team division, although much bigger now than in past years, isn't big enough for an on-going series without doing mostly flashbacks. It could also free up the regular Elite line for more singles stars.
But I'm pretty sure the guys at Mattel think about stuff like this all the time. It's kind of their job. So if it made sense for them to do it, they would do it. And if they're not planning it, it's because it doesn't make financial sense for them to do it right now.

I could also see a target HOF 4 pack with 2 tag teams in it but no 2 packs Nash Hall ( nWo) vs Sting/ Luger (Wolfpack) This makes no sense. Nash was the leader of the Wolfpack.

We've been through this so many times, also you can't assume because we got 4 elite horsemen that you can just divide the price point. By that logic OP, elites should be $12.50, like ones with no or little accessories like E30 Batista

Considering regular tag sets are already $30 here, I wince at the thought of what elite battle packs would cost.

Nash Hall ( nWo) vs Sting/ Luger (Wolfpack) This makes no sense. Nash was the leader of the Wolfpack. Didn't Nash leave and get back with Hall? Or did nWo Hollywood take over after that?

Not internationally. As a target exclusive or whatever, sure. But that wouldn't work outside the states. Price point is already too high as most of the elites haven't even come to canada and when they started were only two per set. Mattel can blame it on whatever but if another company were doing figures which are all the same aside from heads and a few accessories we wouldn't be paying this much, let alone the ridiculous turnaround time. It really bugs me that wcw/tna figures from about 10-15 yrs ago were more articulated and bodies varied more than what we see in 2015. It's comparable to the fact that what were stuck with in terms of wwe video games just isnt what it should be.

Yes please!! There are lots of classic tag teams needed. Many of the teams may only have one of two who will sell well at retail so they should get put together. $30-35 is a good price. I want deco and accessories but I think that many of the teams won't need too much deco or accessories. Three packs are welcome too.

The Surfer Sting torso in the WCW Evoulution of Sting was used for WCW Sting, ML Cyclops and TNA AJ Styles just to name a few.

They were still better and recycled much, much less. Surfer stings were originally Buff bodies. I couldve done without some of the gimmicky features, but i personally believe we could have a whole lot better than what we have to choose from.
