What an amazing promo. EC3 may be the final TNA World Champion, but in my opinion, he deserves to hold that title, as he's been great since his debut.
WWE made a big mistake letting him go.

I'll gladly admit I was wrong. I couldn't stand ec3 when he was in NXT as Derrick Bateman but he has been a standout performer all throughout his TNA run, deserve his spot where he is now.
That's a cracking promo too!

I hope hes TNA Champ for as long as he and TNA are still together. He's one of the last guys there who are still worth a crap, and if something does happen to WWE, hopefully they have a place for him in NXT, cause the guy is talent.

I wouldn't call the TNA title prestigious, but it was a good promo.

"I'm the new game."
I wonder who that was directed towards.

He lost all credibility when he said he holds the most prestigious title in the industry. I actually chuckled at that comment.

In a different setting, sure, I'd agree it's a great promo (not sure about the year), but having people in the background and filmed like that took away from it...
Oh, and if he believes the title is the most prestigious, good on him - he's doing his job. If he believes, hopefully fans will too.

Well, that is the actual person talking and not the character. I can see his frustrations and his fear and I understand him. However, does not mean I agree with him. Unfortuenly, I don't agree with any of it. I agree with his original release and I agree he has come a long way. EC3 should be thinking not only Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley, Sting, Jeff Hardy, and many more for his opportunity and his learning experience. The TNA title, however, is still worthless and isn't worth the 5,0000 they spent on it.
BUT read closely, please.
I started watching TNA wrestling day one. The first pay per view they ever held under the banner of NWA TNA. I watched through the good and the bad, and the ugly. I watched Jeff Jarrett hold an NWA championship and have trash thrown at him in the middle of a six-sided ring because he did his job so well. I watched Rhino become TNA champion for a day and I patiently waited for TNA to come back on television the many times it has moved networks. I watched the night Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff entered the building and took over creative. Hell I bought the figures, the DVD's, and I spent a lot of money to order the pay per views on direct TV so I could see stars like Sting, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, and so forth.
But to be honest with you, I was denial just like I was in 2000 with WCW, and when I saw how bad things really were that night Jeff Hardy refused to do the job for Sting. I walked away and I never truly came back, I even tried to sit down and watch an entire season of TNA Wrestling. I've actually done this several times now because I wanted an alternative to WWE, I couldn't do it. The Aces and Eight's angle, Immortal, the rehashed screw jobs, the rehashed creative, the entire world title scenes since the now fourth reboot of the product. I hate this company, I really do. I didn't want to, and it's not Dixie's fault, it's not Vince Russo's fault. I can't pinpoint why I hate TNA to its core, to be honest, there are many reasons. I'm not going to list them off, but I have never in my entire life as a wrestling fan wanted to see something go away like I do this. It's almost insulting to watch to a person who spent time, effort, and money that I'll never get back to see them just screw up over and over again with big opportunities. I knew TNA would never compete with WWE, but I had hoped it would be a something different to the current WWE product, and honestly it came out to be just a big joke among the wrestling community, so maybe that is why I hate it so much because I use to love it, and I'm tired of seeing something I use to support struggle to be relevant.
So go ahead and ignore me and tell me to go away, but really guys its time to wake up. TNA is about to rehash the alliance angle, really when are you going to see that wrestling angle should never be rehashed, hell it nearly destroyed WWE ratings. I can't imagine what it's going to do to a company that is standing on really nothing.

Sounds a little bitter. It's a shame he'll be out of work soon. I guess he shut the door on a wwe return.

Amazing that people are sh*tting on EC3 calling the TNA title the most important belt in wrestling.
Of course he'll call it that, THAT'S HIS JOB! What did you want him to say, that the belt means f*ck all to him?
He's the TNA Champion, he's supposed to call it the most important belt in wrestling, because that's the belt he won.
I swear, some of you people will nitpick everything about TNA.
Hell, as far as i'm concerned, he made the TNA title feel more important in 4 minutes, than WWE has made their belt feel important in 6 years.

Yea, because he should admit that his company's title isn't prestigious. Come on people, get it together.
Ethan Carter III is the absolute biggest missed boat by the WWE in recent memory. More than John Morrison, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, Drew McIntyre and many others. He is phenomenal and deserves every bit of success he gains.

I don't watch TNA did the WWE rally drop the ball on this guy? They 100% did. And again, he has to say that about his title. ROH Champions say it about their title, ECW Champions said it about theirs, WCW Champions, etc.

He has done what every other WWE reject who TNA has put the belt on has said when they won. They subliminally trash WWE and act like its not them that led to their release. So they win a title that has zero meaning and a title that will soon to be a pawn shop special and act like that is their way of saying " you WWE, im better than you and this proves it". I'm so sick of these bitter WWE rejects having a huge grudge because WWE had no interest in them. Instead of the dude calling himself "The new game" and trashing WWE because he won "the most prestigious belt in the industry" , He should worry about even being employed in 2 months.

Think of how many wrestler's bust their ass for years, just trying to make it to the top pro wrestling organizations in the world. So few wrestler's are ever offered an opportunity at a world title, let alone get to hold one. That alone makes any world title prestigious. For any so called "fan" to disregard the TNA world title as nothing more than a joke, just shows the lack of respect these "fans" have for the business and every wrestler that has stepped foot in a ring.

Or he's enjoying his title win. He is pissed as WWE for letting him go, like most normal human beings would be when a company fires them. Especially if they believe the firing was unjust. People have been saying that the dude wasn't good enough for a while now, but he's been the best heel in the business (along with Seth and Jay Lethal) for a while now. I'm not saying he made the title feel more important, but he obviously can't go out and say "I won this belt, the second or third, maybe even fourth most prestigious belt in the business". He has to say his is the top title, just like WCW, ECW, ROH and every other company's champions have said in the past. No need to laugh at him for saying it.
