Avoiding all the X-Men stuff currently because I don't have the extra funds to see Logan yet. Good to hear it's well received though.
My mother in law has watched most of season one of agents of shield. It's weird seeing how intertwined everything was up to that point. Especially now knowing they rarely acknowledge the movies and vice versa

Apparently no version of an Iron Fist costume will debut in the show. That kinda disappoints me....I was looking forward to some kind of real world iteration of one of his outfits....small gripe though.
Roll on March 18th. I know it debuts March 17th? but I will be indulging in traditional St Patricks Day activities that day......LOL

Would someone mind listing all the Marvel movies out on blu-ray in the correct order someone new to the series would need to watch them? The MCU? You really cant go wrong watching them in the order they were released. This is the order I watch them in though....(Feige agrees) Captain America: The 1st Avenger Iron Man Iron Man 2 The Incredible Hulk(scene at the end with stark makes more sense AFTER you have seen IM2) Thor(has to be your last before Avengers because of the post credit scene) Avengers. IM2, TIH & Thor are all happening pretty much at the same time but the above order clears stuff for me. The rest I watch in the order they were released........ Iron Man 3 Thor: The Dark World Captain America: The Winter Soldier Guardians Of The Galaxy Age Of Ultron Ant Man Captain America:Civil War Doctor Strange

Thor 3 using DEM COLORS! God, nothing is more refreshing than Marvel's use of colors when they go intergalactic.
One of the things I believed was sorely missed in Civil War.. The color grade was so bleak.. I look to Marvel Studios to mirror the comic books when it comes to color grading.. The colors need to pop. They need to be vibrant.
GotG 2 and Thor 3 look like they absolutely will.. Hopefully Homecoming as well.

I've seen a couple other sites panning Iron Fist, too.
Though I generally don't worry about reviews, it does concern me a bit. Eh, no matter what, I'll be happy just to get more Claire.

From what I understand, only critics have seen it so far. And I've heard the biggest complaint about Iron Fist is that the main character is white. They're being accused of whitewashing. I guess they feel that just because it has to do with martial arts, the main character has to be Asian. I mean how dare Marvel cast a white guy to play a white character!
What's ironic about the whole thing is, rather than being the social justice warriors they think they are, they're the ones that are coming across as racist and stereotypical. I have a feeling once the actual fans get to watch this the reviews will improve.

From the reviews I've read, the show is fine, but they're complaint is that Danny is white...even though the character of Danny has always been white in the comics. The funny thing is that they claim it's whitewashing to have a white guy do kung fu, but they don't see that they're being stereotypical by wanting an Asian guy to play the role. I hate this so called "politically correct world." What ever happened to common sense?

Who cares if the character has a long history of comic lore as being white? We need to force diversity wherever we can just for the sake of it! Even if, y'know, that actually continues to push another long-running stereotype. Really, watching the outrage these morons continue to pull out of their asses would almost be entertaining if it weren't so sad.

The same critics were going insane because Tuccis secretary in Transformers 4 knew kung Fu. They moaned like crazy because "apprarently EVERYONE from southeast Asia knows a martial art"
I NEVER seek out reviews of stuff from "professional critics" because they are full of Sh*t. In fact they are that full of sh*t they should be sponsored by a leading diaper company.
The entire thing about changing Dannys race is really annoying....Marvel get accused of whitewashing all the time and its baseless. they have changed characters(Valkryie) and are prepping the greatest African American cast of all time with Black Panther.

If someone casts Sally Field as Rosa Parks then bitch all you want. But to complain that a white guy was cast as a white character is asinine.

Ragnarok Plot: "When we last saw Thor, he was flying off to figure out who was manipulating the Avengers at the end of Age of Ultron. Eventually, he hears rumblings of trouble in Asgard: His evil brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), has been impersonating their missing father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins). Loki’s rather lax governing leads to the reemergence of an imprisoned Hela (Cate Blanchett). Thor’s initial encounter with Hela gets him blasted to Sakaar, a barbaric planet ruled by the charming but nefarious Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), a tough, hard-drinking warrior hiding out on Sakaar brings the god to the Grandmaster. “Thor is a bit of a fanboy for the Valkyrie, the elite women warriors,” Hemsworth says. Thor is then forced into becoming a gladiator, which leads to his haircut and the loss of his trusty hammer. (His replacement weapons include a pair of swords seen on EW’s cover.)
Sakaar’s most popular and successful gladiator? Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk. Comics fans will recognize this plotline as part of the popular Planet Hulk series. “He’s much more of a character than the green rage machine you’ve seen in the Avengers movies,” Ruffalo says of this new Hulk. “He’s got a swagger. He’s like a god.”
Once Thor and Hulk unite, Ragnarok becomes a sort of road-trip film, with director Taika Waititi drawing inspiration from movies like 48 HRS., Withnail and I, and even Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The director particularly wanted to show off Hemsworth’s comedic abilities, only recently exploited in films like Vacation and Ghostbusters. “He’s so good and underutilized in that department,” Waititi says. “He’s legitimately one of the funniest things in this film.”
Fans will also see some familiar faces, like Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange. The New York-based sorcerer met with Thor in the post-credits epilogue of Doctor Strange, and he will help the Asgardian locate Odin. Teases Feige, “There’s not a whole lot that takes place on Earth in this film, and that’s one of the things that does.”
The events of Ragnarok will also help set up Marvel’s biggest Phase 3 installment, Avengers: Infinity War, the first half of which is due in May 2018. But Waititi is adamant that his film will not only stand on its own, it will reinvent the franchise. “A lot of what we’re doing with the film is, in a way, kind of dismantling and destroying the old idea and rebuilding it in a new way that’s fresh,” he says. “Everyone’s got a slightly new take on their characters, so in that way, it feels like [this is] the first Thor.” Just with a little less hair."

Read this through last night.......have to say it sounds great. I always figured this movie would be laying some serious tile for Infinity War

It'd be nice to have an Asian lead in the realm of Marvel & there could've been a fine immigrant story told with an Asian Iron Fist, but what's done is done. I just can't unsee Hyde from That 70s Show doing kung fu.
I'm only on episode 3 of Legion, but damn, is it a beautifully shot show.

I also like that Danny is scruffy as f*ck coming back from his adventures/teaching. The 70s show reference is a stretch too chief.....

How can there only be three more episodes left of Legion?
It's not fair, dammit! But really, it's absolutely blown away my expectations. Also noticed that Patrick Stewart said he'd be willing to make an appearance on the show as Professor X. Please let it happen.
