Ever since BNB came back from injury, it seems like he is being built up for nothing. He won the King of the Ring, (if you can even call it that anymore), and it's gotten him nowhere. Now we call him "King Barrett"... What is he, the king of jobbers? He fights R-Truth for over a month, and that went nowhere fast. Now he wrestles Zack Ryder on RAW for an easy win, what's the point? I think he should be up there as a potential headliner with Sheamus, but he was snubbed out of even being in the MITB ladder match... So much for bringing any legitimacy back to the King of the Ring tourney, calling him "King Barrett" now feels like a bad joke.

Barrett has been one of unluckiest guys in recent memory on the WWE roster. Just when he has momentum, either WWE doesn't pull the trigger on him (2010) or he gets injured (2012 & 2014). Otherwise, he could have been one of the bigger-named stars today.

After the whole Nexus thing went to crap, I never cared of Wade.
I am actually shocked he is still employed to be honest. I think if there was a big company like a WCW still around, Wade would have seen his walking papers along time ago. I got reason Vince keeps everyone on the payroll until their contract expires so he doesn't come off as cruel - when there really isn't another option out there on par to the WWE for these guys to wrestle at.

Not much, but there's really not much to do with him. He's not cut out to be a main event guy and he can only hold the IC title so much. Put him in a tag team with someone.

He should be in the same leagues as Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns; he should be a main man, he should be the second-top heel frankly. I think a big problem in his way is that there are just so many stars from past era's that aren't leaving their spots, and its killing guys like Barrett, Bray, Cesaro, Ryback and soon Owens I fear. Why were Big Show and Kane main eventing shows for the first 6 months this year?! If it were 10/15 years ago, yeah sure, but now its just laughable, they have no relevance and the fans really dont care! Kane hasn't had a memorable feud since 2010 when he feuded with Taker, which should have been his send-off really, and hell the one before that was way back in 2004 with the same man!! Show's even worse, I cant remember him being in a major feud, something that made me want to watch a show, that entertained me since MAYBE Survivor Series 2002! He's simply a joke, yet because he's the biggest dude they have, they still push him as a beast...even though we've seen him cry numerous times, and dance around in stupid outfits numerous times, and be a big cuddly teddy bear numerous times and ect ect. And Cena is a big problem too, but thats something I've wrote about a bunch here; simply put he's a cancer that is killing so many careers because he's too stubborn to take a back seat - Austin did it in 2002, Michaels did it pretty much since he came back in 2002, Orton's started to do it, Jericho done it, , HULK HOGAN did it after Mania X8!! Yet Cena, nope Cena has to still be the unbeatable monster that has to win 90% of the feuds he's in because he's their top player.....maybe he's their top player because they haven't taken the damn risk with anyone else and just revert back to him?! Barrett should be in the ME scene, or atleast the upper midcard, having perfect matches with Ambrose and Reigns;he can brawl, he can wrestle, he can pretty much do it all, and has charisma coming out of the ears....yet he's placed in mind-numbing feuds with the likes of Truth and comes out of them looking like a child and an amateur

I touched upon this in the NXT call-up thread; the casual fan does not care about guys like Barrett, Bray, etc. because they aren't pushed to care about them. The guys who should be leading the company into the future aren't afforded time, character development, momentum, and a medium to excel with. And yes, they have to take a back seat to guys like Cena, Orton, Show, Kane, 'Taker, Lesnar, etc. and while those guys are given promo time, character development, and direction, the guys us hardcore fans want to see succeed aren't. And it's a shame because there's gonna be a day where Undertaker can't work anymore, where Kane can't work anymore. They lose all the part timers and big names and then what? They have no one being groomed to be top tier guys after this wave of superstars.

I thought Kane's last really "memorable" fued was with Cena and Zack Ryder in early 2012. Just my opinion. With Wade I still think he's underrated. Winning KOTR hasn't done much for him other than about a dozen throw-away R Truth matches.

He's boring on the mic and boring in the ring. He had potential a few years back to be something big but that didn't work out.

Absolutely sod all! Bring back the 'Bad News Barrett' gimmick, he was over af with that. Whilst he's not a technical marvel, he's very solid and could be an asset to the main event scene.

Seems they're gun-shy about pushing him since he's been injury-prone (much like with Daniel Bryan), but since it's not been concussions (unlike DB), they're at least having him go out there cause he's worth something to them.
In other words, a whole lot of nothing.

I have said this before.....but to hell with it I'm gonna say it again......Sheamus and Barrett should have been recruited as the muscle of the Authority instead of the effin Big Show. Kane has a role.....but Sheamus and barrett should have been tidied up(shaved etc) put in suits and made HHHs "guys"
Barrett in particular could have benefited from this.

They could and should have called them the Enforcers. AA could have been an advisor to HHH and hand picked these two to "enforce his vision of the WWE".....Jesus.....AA could have managed them as a dominant tag team too. Ah crap. Jokers Authority: HHH & Steph - Leaders Rollins - The Chosen One AA - Advisor to HHH Sheamus & Barrett - The Enforcers Rusev or Big E as further muscle J&J security - sandbags to get mauled by the faces Kane heres the scene.......Ambrose appears through the crowd belts HHH and grabs Steph......cue Barrett and Sheamus beating the ever loving crap outta him in a really forceful committed scene.
