Like the title says if WCW had a MITB concept who would you book to win each year and how would their eventual cash in go?
- Hollywood Hogan: Following his shocking turn at BATB, Hogan pulls down the briefcase and teases cashing in at Hog Wild. Giant goes over Ric Flair in the ME, and Hogan immediately cashes in following the match to win the world title.
- Sting: Yes we all know a part of what made Sting's 1997 run so great is that he didn't compete in a match until Starrcade 1997. And I wouldn't change that. With the nWo still in charge, I'd book the match with mostly nWo guys and only DDP and Chris Benoit representing WCW. They put up a decent fight but the nWo overwhelms them and as it looks like Scott Hall is about to grab the briefcase, the lights go out and Sting appears in the middle of the ring with his bat. He takes the nWo out, grabs the briefcase, and ascends back up to the rafters. Sting continues his silent, stalker gimmick until we get to Starrcade where he announces he'll be cashing in to set up Sting/Hogan.
- DDP: DDP wins the briefcase and after winning the 1998 War Games for WCW, he announces the next night that he's cashing in at Halloween Havoc. Assuming everyone is healthy, Sting would still be the champ from Starrcade 1997, having successfully beaten every nWo challenger thrown at him. It is a gimmick free match with no interference (like DDP/Goldberg) and Sting wins after a back and forth match. The following month we get DDP/Goldberg at WW3 where Goldberg wins and earns a shot at Sting at Starrcade. While DDP failed in his cash in, he comes off as credible against Sting and Goldberg and winds up going over Kevin Nash at Starrcade.
- Scott Steiner: Steiner goes on a dominant run before and after his MITB win, taking out stars left and right (similar to his actual world title run). Goldberg, still champ since beating Sting at Starrcade, goes over a newly returned "Red and Yellow" Hulk Hogan at Hog Wild. Following the match, Steiner attacks Goldberg as he's celebrating and successfully cashes in and becomes the new world champ.
- Jeff Jarrett: Being the "Chosen One," Double J wins the briefcase and teases cashing in for months. Goldberg, who won the title back from Steiner at Starrcade 1999, holds the title until about mid-year. Following a successful title defense against Booker T, Jarrett tries to cash in. However, Goldberg being friggin Goldberg, successfully defends his title against Jarrett's attempted cash in.
