Sums up Raw. Would've straight left during this segment. Possibly the worst go-home segment for any PPV ever. "Tater tots"? I get it's PG, but market it towards adults, and the kids will follow in droves wanting to be cool and edgy.

Its like Power Rangers, kids will always like Power Rangers. When you get older, you grow out of it because its aimed at kids. The problem with WWE is that they're doing the same, aiming at specifically children. Kids arent growing up and staying fans of wrestling. They all think its 'gay' as they age. I dont see why WWE doesnt want to keep fans as opposed to cycling them in and out, kids will always like wrestling regardless.

(replace Mr. Burns with Vince McMahon and Homer with Triple H)
"Here I have 1000 monkeys working at a thousand typewriters. Soon, they will have booked the greatest show of all time. Let's see.
'Push new stars?'
You stupid monkey!"

This is just so sad. I've been watching WWE for nearly 20 years and I'm starting to think this is the worst it has ever been. I did not see 95 and 96 live so I can't speak for those years. I started in 98 so yes I was spoiled and came in during the height of the attitude era. I watched everything from 98 to 02. In 2002 i kind of lost interest started getting out of it until late 03 when I turned on Smackdown and saw Undertaker ask Vince for a buried alive match. The possibility of deadman Undertaker intrigued me and I started watching again. I felt fresh because I had been gone for so long and 2004 Smackdown is still one of my favorite eras ever.
It had Eddie's title reign, JBL's title reign, deadman Undertaker, the rise of Cena, and I was enjoying some of the young talent at the time. I've been watching since then and over the years my interest has declined but something has still left me hooked.
2008 is when I thought the show couldn't get worse, but there was the Michaels Jericho feud to keep my attention.
2009 was kind of eh, but Hardy and Punk kept my attention.
2010 was ok, and the first few months of the Nexus really caught my attention
2011 saw the return of the Rock and his first promo back reminded me how complacent I had become and that I was supposed to be entertained. Then a few months later the summer of Punk occurred and I was hooked again.
2012 was a pretty solid year for anyone not named Zack Ryder. Punk's reign continued and we saw the debut of the shield, as well as a potential future star in Ryback.
2013 saw team Hell No and Bryan's quest for the title begin. Bryan was also putting on killer matches on a weekly basis.
2014 saw Bryan become champion but then things began to fall for him. The loss of Bryan hurt but then the shield broke up and the Ambrose/Rollins feud began which lead to one of the only cell matches I believe was worth the ppv since HIAC became a ppv.
2015 started off rocky with the rumble, yet had one of the better Mania's of the past few years. The summer was ok not great but had its moments. But now everything is about Roman. The ironic thing is that if Roman had a monster heel run following WM he'd probably be getting cheered right now by the fans. But WWE wanted instant gratification and Roman to be universally accepted without giving the fans a reason to accept him.
I didn't watch Raw last week but I did this week hoping for a good show. The 16 man match wasn't great but it was different so I'll give WWE some credit for trying something. Then there was Owens Ziggler which was solid except for the fact that Ziggler has lost all credibility. Seeing Sasha was good and New Day is still the best thing going. Paige and Charlotte wasn't great but it was passable. Then the show just dragged. The end segment was horrible I find myself asking why am I still watching and the only answer I have is New Day. I don't want to stop watching but I may be headed that way soon.

That ending segment was one of the worst things I have ever seen on Raw. Roman isn't going to work as a babyface, and if Vince keeps battling the fans on that, than I fear for the future of WWE.

The attitude era had kids coming in droves desperately trying to watch it because it was cool. What kid even stays up past 9-10pm to watch a TV show on a Monday night anyways!?
