Sooooo, in the WWE world of loser of a title gets a re-match.....are we pretty much assured that Roman Reigns will be the challenger for the WWE Title again this year at Wrestlemania?
Scenario #1: Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble, retains......how do they determine a #1 contender for Mania?
Scenario #2: Roman Reigns loses the Royal Rumble to whoever.........Roman Reigns probably gets a re-match at Mania.

It will end with Reigns in the main event of Mania. Leaving as champion.

Very cool news. Hopefully it leads to a new champion not named John Cena

Well thats were fastlane comes in they can easily just do a number 1 contenders match giving a reason to really watch Fastlane.

Either way, ROMANWINSLOL.
WWE just seems to keep inviting the Rumble crowd to revolt each year.

Scenario #1: Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble, retains......how do they determine a #1 contender for Mania? Scenario #2: Roman Reigns loses the Royal Rumble to whoever.........Roman Reigns probably gets a re-match at Mania. Yeah, there are a couple of scenarios where this works: 1. Roman Reigns retains the Championship, a tournament (or something of the sort) is held at Fast Lane to determine is opponent, probably John Cena. In this scenario, Reigns goes to Fast Lane and faces Triple H. It can be for the title or non-title, doesn't really matter, Reigns is going to win. 2. Roman Reigns loses the Championship because of Triple H, and is so incredibly dismayed with him that he foregoes his title rematch until after Wrestlemania to get his revenge. This sets up Triple H/Roman Reigns at Mania with no title involved. But there are a few scenarios that are totally counterproductive, and, quite frankly, idiotic: 1. Triple H wins the title at the Royal Rumble, and Roman Reigns continues on as an "underdog", finally getting his big win at Wrestlemania. 2. Someone else wins the title at the Royal Rumble, and Roman Reigns continues on as an "underdog", facing Triple H at Fast Lane, and then getting his big win at Wrestlemania. 3. Roman Reigns plows through 29 other guys as the ultimate ruler, bestower, judge, jury, executioner, deity, god that Vince McMahon tells us he is, then plows through his opponent at Wrestlemania as some quasi-babyface that, by this point, everyone will have outright rejected. I would almost guarantee that, at this point, Roman Reigns will be leaving Wrestlemania as champion, whether it be retaining, or poorly attempting to make us believe he is overcoming the odds the again and striking down the evil Vince McMahon to win the title for the third time in months, because, lol, he's an underdog. We're in the exact same spot as we were at this time last year, except this time, there's no Seth Rollins to save the day. Roman Reigns is the be all, end all, and no matter how non-sensical, counterproductive, and damaging it is, he's what you're going to get, exactly as he is, glaring flaws and all. He's got no incentive to get any better now, because he sees what they'll do with him as a mediocre talent with a good look. He's there to get rich. He's going to get rich, and we're going to like it.

He can't win. No one should overcome these odds. I'd say Triple H screws him, someone else wins and Reigns vs Triple H at Wrestlemania. I really want AJ Styles to debut and win.

I'm hoping this is their way of getting the title off of Reigns without making him look weak. I like Reigns and all, but there's more money in a heel champion going into WM.
I will say (as much as I know there are those that hate it), I like that they are adding something new the the Rumble. It adds some unpredictability to the Rumble and gives you a sense that anything can happen.

I think Reigns is losing. If we take a step back, and look at potential matches, Reigns vs HHH, Brock vs Sheamus, and Taker vs Cena, should all still be strong options for the card. Unless WWE has just decided to throw everything out, I don't see this as much more than an interesting way to market the Rumble.
Brock, Cena, Reigns, and Sheamus are the 4 options imo. None of them particularly excite me. I guess because it's a short window of time, there is always the possibility that HHH wins and then we get Reigns vs HHH in the title match at Mania but I don't see HHH doing that at this point.
I guess we'll see. I'm most excited to see if WWE really does let AJ Styles jump right to the main roster. If that happens during the Rumble, it will make the show entirely worth it. I'm not expecting that though, and I'm not expecting AJ to get anywhere near the main event even if he does debut.

It's time to correct 2014's mistake.

The way I'd book this is have Reigns enter at #1. In theory, why would he not enter at #1? Vince is setting him up to lose so it makes sense. Then have Big Show enter at #2 to deal with Reigns. Reigns eliminates Big Show in under a minute to show he means business. Hot start. Then he gets to about the final 2, final 3, final 4, something like that and gets screwed. Keeps him strong which keeps WWE happy, and he doesn't win which keeps idiots on the internet like myself happy.

No way Reigns wins TWO YEARS in a row.
Though I think they'll probably have him put on a monster showing before getting eliminated... hopefully to someone NEW!

I think you might be underestimating the tremendous erection Vince has for Roman Reigns. I mean, realistically, if he loses the Rumble, he's winning the title back at Mania, so, does it even really matter? He's an underdog, though.

Well I guess this is going to be the main event of Wrestlemania, because theres no way Roman isnt in the Main Event this year for the title.

1) This is a ridiculous concept. Why? Because unless Reigns is 2, it's not really a threat. He can't be number 1 as Big Show announced he is. If he's anything but number 2, it's not really a survival as he just has to be the last man standing. Come in at 23? Meh. Come in at 3? Maybe provided the rest of the field hasn't been eliminated.
2) Want to make sure Reigns walks out with cheers? Number 30 is John Cena.
3) I would love it if Reigns is eliminated quickly. Then it really adds drama to the RR.

HHH wins and faces Reigns in the title match but the last match is Undertaker's retirement match unless they have a shocking ending like last year.
or
HHH screws Reigns out of the title and the title match is something else. While giving us HHH vs Reigns.
Either way HHH vs Reigns is happening at Mania.
