He can make them money as a trainer. I don't see Sara Del Ray and A-Train making the WWE buckets of money. Bryan's better than both of them, but I fail to see how being a trainer would make them money. Train guys to be fed to Cena/Reigns/Orton? How's that make them money? Wouldn't everyone benefit from having better trained wrestlers though.

In which case, he should sue like Del Rio. WWE knows their "independent contractor" crap is BS, and will just fold again. The Del Rio thing was much easier to prove than Bryan's situation. Del Rio's case was entirely racial (the reason he acted the way he did then subsequently get fired instead of the other guy). Slander'd be a little harder to get to roll I think. I still don't think they want any attention being shined on the whole independent contractor claim, which is why they would ultimately let it go.

Great wrestlers to be speared to death by Reigns when they get hot and fall into mid card feuds with Owens/Ambrose/Whoever that we here on WF would love but the casual WWE fans and their target audience really wouldn't care about.

@doobie2650 You're right, having "better" trained wrestlers would be a good thing. But Bryan's a worker. Training someone to wrestle on TV and training someone to work are 2 completely different things. They quit teaching people how to work in Developmental when Ace took it all over. A guy like Batista wouldn't have amounted to jack in the current system, whereas even though he was the sh*ts as a worker in OVW, he did in fact learn to work. That's the world we're in now, and I'm not b*tching about it. But man, I'd take a Rob Conway or Nick Dinsmore match over a Darren Yong or Wade Barrett match any day of the week.
Damaja!

It would be a huge mistake on their part. Not really. He can't make them money when he's on screen twice a year, and it's not like he has a legends deal to be paid only when he makes appearances. And if he's being paid more than he makes them, and they refuse to clear him for whatever their reason he, a release makes sense. Yup. And if they release him, they can work something like a Legends deal if they want, or work a royalty deal with him so he get a good cut of any merhc of his that sells and that sort of thing

There is no way he would be released.
If anything they would change his contract to a legends deal or something like that.

Here's the thing with the reasoning that WWE wouldn't release him: Bryan isn't going to retire quietly.
The guy still very clearly wants to wrestle. His recent tweet was either a hint that WWE has cleared him, or his way of getting the fans to start a ground swell for it.

I'd love to see him come back and start working like he's headlining the Mid-South Coliseum as a heel in 1981. I'd just love to see him back on tv. Him not being around is a big reason I'm kinda just... not "there" as a WWE fan lately. Although, Goldust is tearing it up on the B (C?) Shows right now, so I'm pretty happy with that.

They are going to clear him after the Rumble to avoid another year of anger.

Not a reputable source, it doesn't mean a thing.

What if its all a work and he returns at RR? Very possible. I still think that there's no way WWE lets him leave the tweet up if something isn't happening.

I highly doubt Bryan is getting released. He's all over Total Diva's with his wife and I can't see the show going forward without him on it some capacity.
I also can't see WWE letting the show feature Bryan if he left and started working for either ROH or somewhere else.

If they do grant him his release, I hope he's careful about any further wrestling he does abroad or in the minor leagues.

lol, I'm in no way making fun of you for saying "minor leagues" but have you ever heard/read someone refer to a wrestler working "on the small circuit"? Sure, by definition there's nothing wrong with using that phrase, but it when I see that, I always think back to that ignoramus saying something along the lines of "He did it because he was demoted from the 4 Horseman to the E-C-Dubbya.".

I still, for the life of me, cannot understand why they won't let him wrestle. He's been cleared for months by the medical community.

Releasing him during Mania season = another year of hijacked shows. They can't be that dumb again, can they?

I doubt it. But I hope he gets cleared, the man wants to wrestle.

I haven't even heard of Keith Scott. Honestly, I don't care for any sites other then F4W, LAWradio or PWI.
If it has 'newz' or 'scoop' in the title, it's fake. Why read 'wrestlenewz' quote Meltzer when you can just hear what Meltz said.

So you send fake news reports to low end dirtsheets as a hobby is really all I get from this. OK.
