From WhatCulture.com (Alvarez is pretty reliable):
Yesterday on the Wrestling Observer Live radio show, Bryan Alvarez indicated that he’d heard from a source within WWE that the plan is for Braun Strowman to square off with The Big Show at Fastlane and beat him, which will then set up a WrestleMania showdown with The Undertaker.
Dave Meltzer has spoken at length in his Wrestling Observer Newsletter about The Undertaker’s scheduled WrestleMania match with John Cena, which was scrapped due to Cena’s recent shoulder injury and surgery.
With a lack of top level opponents for The Deadman, it seems the choice has been made to go with the huge monster of the Wyatt Family.
In the early days of ‘Taker’s WrestleMania career, he would work with larger opponents like Giant Gonzalez and King Kong Bundy which resulted in generally awful bouts that fans still complain about over twenty years later. While it’s always possible that the company decide to take a different route, as of right now, Taker versus Strowman is the plan for Dallas, Texas on April 3rd.
One can only assume that if this match takes place, it’s a lock that Undertaker will not be retiring after WrestleMania 32 and will choose to come back to go out on a high note against a high caliber opponent that he richly deserves
Ugh, this is a true nightmare of a match. They could have Jericho/Taker or Sheamus or even Rusev face Taker. If this is true then I am just baffled.

Nah. We'll give them someone nobody cares about.

This is shaping up to be one crapshow of a Mania. No way they sell out Cowboys Stadium (or whatever it's called now)

The worst part about this news is that The Undertaker isn't going to be retiring yet. Honestly I'm so sick and tired of his whole act right now. He comes in, beats young talent, then stands in the rings and waits for the crowd to thank him for all his years of service and milks it for all it's worth. Then slowly walks up the ramp and holds his arm in the air as if it is the last time we will ever see him again. And then he "returns" 3 months later and does it all over again. It's getting ridiculous. By the time he actually has his last match we'll be sick of saying goodbye to him.

That is awful and I would rather Undertaker skip Mania or just do a run in if the only other option would be to have a crapfest against Braun Strowman. Undertaker isn't going to be able to do anything with Strowman. He couldn't even snake eyes Harper at Survivor Series and he STRUGGLED to get him up for a tombstone.
This match will be terrible and Undertaker will probably end up getting pummeled the entire time until he locks in Hells Gate and wins.
I really think they should go with Jericho. At least Jericho is smaller, Undertaker can pick him up no problems, and they've wrestled before so we know it'll be good.
WWE is wasting Brock Lesnar AND Undertaker at Mania. Wow.

Can't possibly envision this happening. The Wyatts are already feuding with Lesnar. I'm supposed to believe they're going to keep up major feuds on two different fronts? Fat chance. The only way the Lesnar vs Wyatt story works is if the Wyatt Family focuses all of its attention on The Beast and uses the numbers game to get one over on him. They're not going to complicate that matter by adding Taker to the mix as well.

I'm just going to take it with a grain of salt and hope it doesn't happen just like him vs. Kozlov or the infamous Vade Hensen or whatever that guy's name was at WM25.

This is going to be one of the worst WrestleMania's in years if these reporters were right. Brock vs. Wyatt frustrates me to no end and now Strowman vs Taker?! Not even mentioning HHH vs Reigns. Man, good luck WWE. Good luck on selling that stadium out with that card. Jesus. Zayn vs Owens and AJ will be some of the few good moments. If that even happens.

I understand the thought process behind it, but I don't agree with it. Strowman has proved he's not very good yet. I'd much rather have Taker vs Harper. To me, that's a money match.

If this is legitimate, I have absolutely no idea how they plan on saving Wrestlemania.
Reigns/Triple H Wyatt/Lesnar Taker/Strowman
Absolutely insane. That's barely enough to sell out a normal arena, let alone a stadium.

Bring back Big Red Machine Kane and have Undertaker vs Kane in a retirement match...there problem solved. And best of all, one of them will finally retire. This Undertaker thing is getting ridiculous. Could you imagine having someone like Hulk Hogan still around during the Attitude era and doing one match a year, teasing his retirement, and beating people like Austin, Rock, Triple H etc. every Wrestlemania. Seriously, get Undertaker out of here. I've always loved the guy but he has overstayed his welcome to me for about 7 years.

Alvarez was right when he said Yeti Josh was gonna be in the Rumble for a punishment hazing, so I have no reason to doubt him on this.
