I stopped playing/collecting wwe figures around 14. I felt like i out grew it. I still watched wrestling and played the video games. Was not embarrased by it. I am 31 now and started collecting again shortly after turning 31. I have over 120+ wwe figures and a few star wars ones. I dont olay with them but they are their for display. My man cave looks pretty awesome actually and its a huge talking point whem we have friends come over. They always look at the older legends and are like i remember that guy. My wife encourages this as well and has had no issues with me buying figures. She goes out and buys for me when she knows there is someone i want She just bought me the kids toy version of the nxt belt and a divas one for herself so i can put it with the rest of my wrestling belts. As evertone said, be yourself and enjoy life. Life is too damn short so trying to impress people who really don't matter isn't worth it. You will find someone who is just right for you and who will love every aspect of your life. I can say i am very lucky that my wife watches wwe because i like it but she is starting to get in to it as well. So be yourself...you won't regret it!

I don't wanna knock the subject, but this is asked so many times..... can we get a sticky somewhere that's simply about this subject?
I'm 33, going on 34. Have a nice paying management job, nice house, great wife and a toy room that would make most kids die.
Do what you like, if they aren't judging you for this or making fun of you for it. They will find something else.

The less you care about what other people think, the less other people care about what you do.
i'm always impressed when I find out a lot of you are under 18, and this is coming from someone that's probably older than your parents. You guys carry yourselves very well.

Hi I'm almost 15 and I collect WWE action figures since I'm 4 and I'm embarrassed I collect because when my friends saw my display they laughed and they were shocked but I told them I don't play even though I want to play but I don't want them to know and I feel embarrassed because if they see the action figures are in the ring so they know I played with them I don't know if I'm too old to collect I'm scared what will happen when I have a girlfriend in the future what would she say so did you guys ever fee like this? I am 16 and I collect figures and trust bro when I started collecting at your age I thought to myself "Why am I buying a toy?", "what if someone I know saw me?", "what if my friends/girlfriend finds out?", "I should be doing what other teens do", and "does anyone else get figures at my age?" Then I stopped thinking like that because I'm satisfied with my figures and life so if they have a problem with it that's them because I sure don't, I think it's cool and at the end of the day it's up to the way you see things

You are growing up in a much better time where "nerd life" is socially acceptable. Where Pop Culture is a very importnant thing in many people's lives. I was you're age 14 years ago, and that was a nightmare having people find out I played with toys and collected. This was when gamers were still nerds, but many people started to slowly turn to closet gamers. I say this man. Do what you enjoy. Ad long as it doesn't hurt anyone, or its not illegal, then who cares what others think. Besides, 90% of the people you know know, won't be in your life even 5 years from now. You are right I am going to the army at age 18 so I won't even be in touch with most of them I know its off topic but I have a question, why do you want to go in to the army?

You're at that age range where kids are going to make fun of you over anything because of their own insecurities.
I would just shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off. Its your money bruv. Do what you want with it as long as it doesn't involve murder or prostitution. Unless you're in New Jersey...where there are no rules.

If no 14 year old boys purchased wwe figures, Mattel would be done with the WRASSLIN toys by now.

Very much this!!!! Dude there are a lot of people 30 and over including me that still collect and love it. Would not worry about what your friends think. Do what makes you happy!! I'm in that category too, 32 in May and will never stop. Me either. Ive been in since the LJN days and still have the very first figure I ever got. Cant see ever stopping. If we enjoy it we should we?

People who visit love it and even had people wanting to take pictures because they were amazed by it. So don't let people determine what you do in life and just do YOU
