When you get to be 29 going on 30 like me and a lot of others here and you have a massive collection of things that make you feel good or bring you joy in some way then you'll be happy you stuck around! All my collection is MOC so I don't play with the figures but have a whole room dedicated to them.
As far as finding a girl to accept it, You're way too young to worry. And my girlfriend buys me figures for my birthday/Christmas and for no real reason! She has even started her own!
I say, keep on kid!

I've 31 and I still collect these things. I got to the point where I just didn't care what people thought. I used to bring my Jakks ring and figures into Study Hall in 12th grade to try and come up with new moves and crazy spots because I wanted to be a wrestler. It worked out as I wrestled for 13 years before recently calling it quits. I've also seen some of those moves that I came up with used on WWE programs by former indy guys that have been on shows with me!
People WILL say stuff and judge you but so what. Kick them to the curb. It's the same with girls. I've never had an issue with a girl. They've all been cool and even help me track down what I'm looking for!

I'm 17 years old and I'll be 18 soon. I started collecting at age 5 and Ive never been embarrassed to show my figures or tell people I collect figures and if people ask you aren't you to old to collect figures say to them no it doesn't say 6 to 14 on the the box it says 6+ so you can be 50 and still collect figures

I am 28, went though the same thing you did when I was 14, collected BCA and Titan Tron figures, sold them all and only started collecting elites recently, don't be ashamed of your hobby bud, enjoy your childhood as much as you can

I'm 14 too and don't really care what other people think. Just do what you enjoy and the people who are really there for you will accept and even encourage it.
