These are the pictures from the back of my Jakks scale ring box. It seems like most of these figures have been recreated by Mattel. So it seems like Mattel is catching up to the amount of figures Jakks created. So which of these figures shown (or others) do you think should be made? That Mattel hasn't don't already.

To be fair Savage, Steamboat, Von Erichs, & Sting are not on the back of that box either. So in some ways, Mattel has surpassed Jakks in star power.

yea we arent far off now ... still need a few holes but overall with whats coming out soon and for future releases alot of holes will be filled. Im still holding my breathe for some of those on that box though, so hopefully we will get some variation.

From that box, i would say Sabu, the Freebirds, Race, and Valentine should all get Mattel treatment. I don't know how likely Sabu is right now, but surely Race ,Valentine, and most definitely The Freebirds (since Hayes works for WWE) shouldn't be hard to produce.

Although jakks had a huge selection. Mattel made some figures that fans had been demanding for years like savage, and steamboat. I still consider jakks cs figures my favorite toy line ever. But I also have to admit that Mattel has done a tremendous job as well.

the jakks classic superstar line will never be beat for someone who was a fan At The Time in the 80's and early 90's.

not sure what years jakks had the license(mite be 96-09) but it is hard to compare them with mattel. reason being alot of the fbs people want from mattel, jakks was doing as part of their modern line. so the biggest classic era jakks had to choose from was the golden era(80s) while mattel can do fbs from golden, attitude, and ruthless agression and whatever other era i am missing.

I feel like we need a good Roddy Piper elite with shirt and kilt. I'd prefer long hair, like WM 8

There are still TONS of figures that Jakks made that Mattel hasn't made yet. Jakks went ridiculously deep with their characters. Correct me if I'm wrong on any of these, but I don't believe Mattel has made:
Abdullah The Butcher Adam Bomb Al Snow Andy Kaufmann Bad News Brown Barbarian Bastian Booger Billy Kidman Bob Backlund Bob Holly Brian Blair Brooklyn Brawler Brother Love Bruiser Brody Brutus Beefcake Buff Bagwell Danny Davis Don Muraco Droz Dynamite kid Ernie Ladd Fabulous Moolah Freddie Blassie Giant GOnzalez Goldberg Gorilla Monsoon Greg Valentine Haku Harley Race HOward Finkel Ivan Putski Jack Brisco Jerry Brisco Jesse Ventura Jim Brunzell Jimmy Valiant Johnny Rodz Ken Patera Ken Shamrock Kevin Sullivan Killer Kowalski Koko B Ware Lance Storm Lou Albano Luna Mabel Mae young Mr. Fuji Nikita Koloff One man Gang Repo Man Rick Steiner Rocky Johnson ROn Bass Sabu Shane McMahon Sensational Sherri Shockmaster Spike Dudley Steve Blackman Steve Williams Sunny Tank Abbott Tatanka The Genius The mountie The Shiek TOny Atlas Typhoon Val Venis Warlord
I may have missed some, or maybe some of these have been made. But Jakks made TONS more Characters than Mattel. However the quality wasn't quite as good.

Mattel has made Bob Orton, Jim Ross, Mean Gene (next Wallmart build a figure), Nikolai, Akeem, George The Animal Steele, Hillbilly Jim And Jeff Harvey but just like John Cena You can't see that figure

I really didn't feel like going through all of them lol. I always tend to forget those original legends series. Still, it's a very big list of people that Mattel hasn't made yet. Although a lot of those aren't must haves or anything.

Also, there was a Gang figure planned but it was cancelled.
