Mattel + fully colored belts material feels kinda realistic like a belt snaps on like a real belt with the notches
Mattel - way too small , doesn't fit most figures the belts dont stay snapped on, they ALWAYS fall of my figures
Jakks + the belts can fit MOST figures towards the end they started fully coloring the belts the belts stay snapped on
jakks - for years the belts were not colored the belts don't have notches like a real Belt
overall I think Mattel does belts better than jakks did but I wish they would fit around more figures waists and I wish the damn things would stay snapped on and not fall off . What are your thoughts ?

They are incomparable. Mattel belts are VASTLY superior to Jakks.

They are incomparable. Mattel belts are VASTLY superior to Jakks. I agree but the belts are insanely small I can't get them to go around very skinny figures

I've never had a Mattel belt fall off. Jakks belts never stayed on

Mattel's fit on everyone ecept Brock or larger. And even the Classic Tag Team fits on the Brock torso as I have it on my e30 LoD. I like Mattel's 100x more.

Mattels belts are actually belts whereas jakks just feel like plastic if that makes sense.

Jakks belts are booty. The strap looks weird on a small guy because there is a lot of it left. They were also way too big a lot of times. The oval Intercontinental belt that I have is huge and looks bad.
Mattel all the way with belts.

I think half the time they make belts too big. Where I'm using the smallest notches possible for standard figures. Usually the largest notch works for the Brock/Hacksaw sized guys.
Mattel is the winner. Getting belts from them actually feels special.

The only thing Jakks belts had over Mattel's were that they had all the details of the plates molded. That said, the scale of the Jakks belts were all over the place, some were missing the side plates (US), and sometimes the plates came broken. They also painted them since 2005, but would paint them for the CSDA, Exclusives, and 1 of 500's. They never released them paint otherwise, IIRC.
