Once I officially started my collection, I wanted to keep track of what I had for when I'm out and don't remember if I already have a certain figure or not, and I also mark whether or not I have a figure autographed. I currently use an iOS app called MyStuff2 Pro that I paid for, and it's alright, but I'm wondering if everyone else uses a different app or some other method.

It's easy to keep track when you're constantly starving for more elite flashback updated attires/scans.

You have to literally buy almost every figure to do something like that if you are going for a full collection. Esp if you hunt about every day and get packages about everyday. I usually only get on average at least 2-4 figures per elite wave. And I usually skip all basics unless its NXT or a woman wrestler.

I just remember but sometimes you might accidently buy a figure you already have but you can just return it. I've done this with the Mr. Perfect basic. But it probably wont happen often.

I can say, in my 27 years of life, I have never once bought something or received something and thought "do I have this already"? I think once you graduate to that level, its no longer collecting, its now hoarding.

I confess to having a spreadsheet to track my figures, but it's more of a carry over from my days working in a library (librarians sort, categorize, and make databases of EVERYTHING...just check out the spice rack in a librarians kitchen if you don't believe me).
When I'm out and about looking for figures, I have zero problems remembering if I already bought a figure or not. Once I drop money on something, it is permanently etched in memory.

Rather than keep track of what I have, I have a to buy list on my I-Pod touch since I take it everywhere with me, so I can look at the list if I need to.

I've been doing something similar. I made a database recently to start keeping track of my collection, mainly to help me practice with making them for school, but it's actually a good way to keep on top of what I've got and what I want to get.

I write numbers on the chest of every figure I have. A jumbo sharpie works best. Do it, you won't regret it.

I'm able to remember what I have/ what I need when I go hunting. The only time I can't remember is when it pertains to comics. I bought Secret Wars #5 twice, for example. Didn't buy Vader #14, thought I had already. But I didn't. Figures its easy to remember, and my collection is getting there, size-wise.

I make a photo of every new picture and keep an Excel list....a little work, but this way I make sure, not to get another 5 Cenas or Taker
