Never have I thought about selling my Hasbros before but I'm thinking about it now due to having 2 extensions built. Has anybody sold up and not regretted it?

I sold my complete LJN, Hasbro, Galoob, and some of their side line sets many years ago. Don't really regret it, but I "miss them" which is why I hang around here. Don't really wish I still had them though. Nowadays I only have the '80s WWF erasers set and began collecting the Funko mystery mini legends. No desire to get them all, just the ones I like for a little fun. On one hand, I sold at the longtime height of their value. On the other hand, had I held out another 10 or so years, they would have increased another 20-25% or so for a good portion of them, most notable the rares and those with hard to find accessories. Some even devalued over time, so it's almost a wash

I'm contemplating selling my near complete loose collection (3 away from complete) - basically for storage/space reasons. i'm gonna hate seeing them go to be honest but...there's only so much space in the world (and the missus is not amused that they're taking up the spare room.

I've got the entire WWF LJN collection MOC, several of the WWF LJN resin prototype/sales pieces, and the entire AWA Remco Mat Mania collection MOC, I've had countless offers for certain pieces and just haven't been interested. It would have to be a stellar offer for me to even consider it.

The only extension you need is a WWF Hasbro museum extension

Hearing stories like this on here just makes me never to wanna get married.
Seeing so many guys over the years come on here and say, "the wife wants me to sell off my figures for the new baby that is coming" or something along those lines just makes me shutter.
I say, if you are going to sell your wrestling figures, do it because YOU yourself wants to sell them. Not because your wife wants you too, but she can keep stupid knickknacks she bought at a stupid store to put on display in the living room.

And I'd bet some who are have a valid reason; like the guy on that TV show a while back who kept spending and collecting yet they had no money, no savings, etc.

Sold my complete LJN, Hasbro, Galoob, as well as 1/25 Jakks Flair to appease my whore of an ex-wife. Then she ended up f'ing and marrying her massage therapist. So, yeah, I really, really regret selling them. One of the first things I did was rebuy a 1/25 Flair once we split.

Swearing off marriage because of bad stories here is like never driving because you know someone who was in a bad accident.
Ultimately if you don't want to sell off your collection then you shouldn't. Or at least try to find some sort of middle ground so everyone involved doesn't feel bitter about the proceeding.

Not all wife's are like that my wife loves my collection and I never get to open a parcel cause she opens it she always can't wait to see what I bought lol she's also got a mini ambrose collection

My wife would never tell me to sell my stuff...because that's not how I roll with relationships. But mannnn I think you have the right idea. No matter how a relationship starts out, if you're a normal nice dude,in the end the wife tries to be the "dominant" one. Hearing stories like this on here just makes me never to wanna get married.
