Smackdown going live is excellent. The brand split is absolutely miserable and I'm shocked people are on board with it. I mean, seriously, we're not very far out from the absolute disaster of the first one. Memory spans for wrestling fans can't really be 5hat short, right? Not to mention, with an hour less, Smackdown is automatically inferior. My thoughts EXACTLY.

Make Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Kalisto and AJ Styles the new Smackdown Six. What about Apollo instead of AJ? Only because Apollo is a lot younger and has a whole lot more years than AJ left.

Oh my, this is huge. My thought process is that Raw will have the IC Title, SD U.S. title and the WHC/Women's will cross over both shows.

Probably not. WWE has been reportedly wanting to, but USA wants to keep it 3 hours. Money talks. Yeah, but, they struggle to fill two hours with the full roster now. I've no idea how they're gonna manage to do a 3 hour show with half the main roster, unless Smackdown is gonna have a tiny roster. Oh I know. I want it to go back to 2 hours, but that money is what makes the world go round

I'm mixed on this. I didn't love the last brand split, but a lot of guys did get over then.
One positive is that Smackdown will be worth watching again. It can't just be a RAW recap if they have different talent. We'll probably see Smackdown become better than RAW again.

Not to mention, with an hour less, Smackdown is automatically inferior. It's not inferior unless you look at it that way. NXT is an hour but is praised and treated as better TV. It's also not presented as direct competition to the flagship. If it were, it would be seen as inferior. It's an entirely separate entity existing in its own space. Smackdown is not, and it won't be. You can't establish two "equal" brands with one having an extra hour of television each week.

I find it kind of ironic that Sky Sports only just moved Smackdown to Thursday nights, two years after it happened in the States, and now WWE have announced that it's going live in July.

I don't have confidence in their efforts to pull this off. A three hour Raw with half of the roster? Cutting the roster in half also means possible more rematches than we already get? Still, I hope they do make it work because when handled right, the brand split was fun. When it wasn't, it was dreadful. This guy knows what he is talking about right here.

Brand Split = more guys getting over. It's Vince's wet dream.

Hopefully. BUT this may be a big opportunity for WWE to challenged themselves and be forced to put more effort into the shows, it will allow much more time for storyline development and character development, or so I'd like to think. I'm just worried about their only being one title

I also believe a brand can be better built with Styles, Owens, and a lot of those guys more than it did on the early 2010s.

I'm hoping for different creative teams. I believe Triple H and friends have been 100% in charge of Smackdown for a while now. It's honestly been consistently really good for about 6 months now.

Am I the only one concerned about the title situation??? I'm seriously stressing guys lol World Heavyweight = RAW/SmackDown Womens = RAW/SmackDown Tag Team = RAW/SmackDown Intercontinental = SmackDown United States = RAW A cross branded Champion only appears on a brand if their current challenger is on that brand, World Heavyweight feud on RAW, Intercontinental feud takes main focus of SmackDown, and United States takes main focus on RAW when World Heavyweight feud is on SmackDown.

I can get behind that. However, they could bring back the WHC, get more guys over and get some fresh title reigns. Then in a few years they can run another big program to unify the titles I just want the big gold back
