Not a chance. If Vince was really giving up on him, then why did he wait until several days after he failed his drug test before announcing it and why is Roman in the main event of a PPV wrestling for the title the second his suspension ends? I don't believe this for a second.

I don't believe this for a second. If they had announced his suspension before or during MITB, everyone would have known he was going to lose the title. By us not knowing, it made that moment much more shocking.

The truth is, the ratings are going to stay about the same regardless of who's on top, as far as their full time roster goes. It's really all a matter of trying to please internet fans. Which is basically impossible.

They're airing a 24 special, "Road to Redemption" for Roman immediately following Battleground. The rocket is still firmly secured and the hilarious babyface disaster is continuing in full swing.

Wasn't that confirmed to be fake? Was it? I read it somewhere yesterday morning and then it was spoken about briefly by Wade Keller yesterday. He didn't indicate it was false, but maybe. I hope it is, they shouldn't be glorifying a wellness violation.

I can see him dropping out of the title picture for a while, but not permanently.
They need to give him a heel run and time to grow as a performer if they really want him to succeed long term. He's gotten much better in the last year or two, but trying to improve while being at the top is much harder than when you're still moving up.
I like Reigns, but I would be fine with him not being a top guy for a while. There are so many others that can take that spot and be amazing.

Most of you guys will want to see Reign's push come to an end, but realistically, it just won't happen. Now, I'm a fan of the guy. However, he does deserve some form of consequence to his actions. He did the crime, so he should take time.

I doubt this is true, but I'd love it if it was. This should be a no contest. Rollins is better in everyway possible.

They made a point to have Roman wrestle another match and be appointed as one of the No. 1 contenders a day later for a reason. I still believe nothing has changed until I see it. I've said this multiple times, but if Roman comes back and wins the title at Battleground, then I'm 100% completely done with the WWE. Ambrose winning the title revitalized everything, IMO, since I think the guy should be the biggest star in the company. But if they go right back with Roman, then it just proves that nothing has changed. And I have no desire to sit through a Roman Reigns era whatsoever, so unfortunately that would have to be it for me.

I want him to regain the title at Battleground and remain a baby face so the Internet drowns in it own tears.

There seem to be some very vocal people that just hate Roman Reigns, but to be honest and I may get flamed for this, but I have actually really enjoyed his work. I think I would even go as far to say that as far as PPV matches go he has freaking nailed it this year. I think in the ring he can go it is just his character that needs some work. People say that Rollins should be the chosen one (and I aint going to disagree with that) but I think wrestling is at its best when you have more than one guy at the top. Austin, Rock, Triple H, Foley and you could add Taker to that list as well, being so interchangeable made the main event sceene really cool back then.
I think Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns can have the same kind of thing going all three of them work really well together and I to be honest do not think Roman Reigns gets the credit he deserves for this. People are always so quick to give the guy he is in the ring with be it Ambrose, Lesnar or AJ all the credit, but I feel he has more than held his own in the ring this year. So yeah at the risk of sounding uncool, I am a Roman Reigns fan!

I agree with you Roman Reigns is a good wrestler and has had quite a few good matches, but we're in an era with the likes of styles, Cesaro ,Owens, Zayn etc who are great wrestlers and have great matches every week, so Roman having good matches really changes nothing for me as I need more than just in ring ability from the 'top guy' he has a role in the main event scene but it's not the role he's currently playing, as a large amount of fans don't buy him and because of that, It's effecting the company, wrestlemania main event should be the biggest and most special of the year with the crowd buzzing! This year it just flopped and basically all the crowd was cheering for the heel authority figure who there supposed to hate haha I get were in 2016 and fans are smart but i still prefer the cheer for the face boo the heel, which can still work if you look at Bryan vs the authority To be fair tho, my dad is a casual fan and he loves Roman reigns lol he thinks hes cool and he thinks Seth is sneaky and a cheat, so maybe us hardcore fans just take it too serious these days haha

To me, there is not a single redeeming babyface quality that I can find in Roman Reigns. The guy just comes off as a natural ass hole. And judging by how thin-skinned he is, he couldn't possibly handle being pushed as the top face in the company while being boo'd out of every arena on a weekly basis. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Roman (or Rollins) wins the title at Battleground, and they cast Dean Ambrose aside just like that, and I am officially done with wrestling. I have no interest to sit through a Roman Reigns era whatsoever.
