Vince's ego in believing that Roman is his next big star is how things have gotten to this point to begin with. Vince has had numerous opportunities to pull the plug on the failed experiment and he's refused to because he's so stubborn. I fail to see how a failed drug test that the company conveniently announced only AFTER Roman was announced to be wrestling for the title at their next PPV is a sign that Vince has given up on him. If anything, this entire situation has just been another unsuccessful attempt by Vince to get Roman over as a babyface. I don't think this is about Vince admitting defeat, this is about Reigns basically slapping Vince in the face after Vince put all the time and effort into him. I guess we'll see. I'm just not of the belief that Vince has lost faith in Roman yet. After how long he's spent trying to get Roman over, I have a hard time believing he'd give up on pushing him just like that. But I hope I'm wrong.

I'm pretty sure AJ Styles will win the Smackdown Heavyweight Championship while Rollins or a Heel Reigns will carry Raw's. It's a shame for me though, as it devalues the importance of Styles winning WWE gold with it being a new Championship with no history behind it. One World Champion would mean so much more.
