For me, I have always found the former Claudio Castangoli, to be a tremendous worker. Inside the ring he is a technician with great agility for a man his size. While he doesnt look ridiculously strong, Cesaro literally as strong as a bull. He is just naturally strong.
Throughout the years, I always felt he was a 2nd fiddle kind of guy. He needed someone like a Chris Hero to be the attitude to his strength. Or he needed a Paul Heyman to be the promoter to his in ring attraction. But as of late, I am seeing Cesaro more and more as a main event player. We know he has the look. That was never in question. We know he has the in ring skill. That also was never in question. And now we are seeing his embracing of the audience with the "Cesaro Section" and most notably he has been coming out with his "James Bond" like look with the suit ripping and shades. He has tweaked his in ring moves by putting heavy emphasis on his European uppercuts, which is really catching on strong with the live crowds. I still feel, Vince is holding him back. Vince said in his Stone Cold pod cast that Cesaro has everything....but always felt he wasnt able to connect with the audience. He felt that if Cesaro could do that....he would be atop the company. Well Vince...I think he has done that.
So what are your opinions? Do you feel Cesaro has earned a top spot? Do you think he will get one? Or do you feel his current mid card role is his limit? Or perhaps you think he is extremely over rated and dont see anything in the guy? Lets hear your opinions.

US, IC or Tag.
I don't see him being a WWE Champion. It's not that he doesn't deserve it, just it's the WWE we are talking about. Vince won't put the WWE Title on him.

He should have become a main eventer after the whole Andre Battle Royal thing.
But now he is really shooting from all cylinders. I don't know what the missing piece was but he's found it.
He's legit one of the very few complete packages that the WWE has right now. If they continue to build He, Owens, and Zayn the way they are currently then the WWE is in good hands for some time.

I find him fun to watch in the ring but I just don't see much in the personality/charisma department, or at least enough where he'll be WWE Champ someday. But damn can he put on a great match at the drop of a hat.

Cesaro is one of the main reasons I watch WWE. He has a good look and personality, and always has match of the year quality matches. He's very popular, at the moment, and WWE is crazy for not riding his momentum. He should be next in line for a run with the Intercontinental Championship.

The weirdest thing for me is that I ING HATED Claudio. But for some reason once he got to the WWE I fell in love with him. I legit only liked Cesaro on the indies as a part of The Kings of Wrestling and that was purely because I'm a mark for Chris Hero.

I felt he was more over with the indy crowd than he was previously with the WWE crowd. His gimmick there seemed to work, especially when paired with Hero. I just always saw him as a #2....like an Arn Anderson. But as of late, I am seeing him as a #1. The missing piece of connecting with the audience got there.

Dude is a workhorse and you can tell he has nothing but passion for the business. I think Vinnie saying what he said on the Austin podcast is what really lit the fire for Cesaro. He's earned and deserves a top spot in the E.

If Dean Ambrose can become WWE Champion then so can Cesaro.

He is a great talent, but I don't think he is the type to carry a show or company, not really main event level. The issue is the WWE no longer has a properly constructed midcard. If it did, I'd view him like a Razor Ramon, mid tier but you know you can count on him for a great match and he can draw really good program

I'm hoping he goes to top of the card on Smackdown after the draft.

Cesaro will never be wwe champion and that's the truth
Now every other title.... definitely
He is one of the best in the world and there is no reason he shouldn't at least challenge for the top title every so often

Love Cesaro. Think he has really found himself as of late. Hopefully he gets drafted to Smackdown and becomes a main eventer there. He could be a big player for the brand.

He'll be in the category of best wrestler to never win the wwe title. I hope I'm wrong. Doesn't seem like they want to get behind him.

He's just like Dolph Ziggler (but even better in the ring) - a guy who can carry this company on his back, but won't ever get the chance to because he's not a Vince guy. It's sad that his prime years are being wasted. The guy is legitimately a freak of nature and won't ever get the recognition he deserves beyond a US or IC Title here and there.

Ever since he won the Race to the Top tournament in 2007, I expected him to do big things. He has it all, especially in WWE's current international obsession. But it all comes back to WWE ing over the most talented guys they have. He should have been a main eventer back I think Elimination Chamber 2013? when he was destroying Orton and Cena in singles matches on Raw but booked to lose them (he may have beaten Orton once though). BTW, I personally think the James Bond gig looks cheap as hell and not cool. But I'd shove this dude in the main event at any time.

Should have been world champ by now, but likely never will.

Vince only said that to make the audience happy and because he can't go "No only Roman is the top guy".
I like Cesaro but Vince will never ever push him to the top.
