Since most of us here are adults, and I'm sure we all had some pretty awful jobs or had a bad day at a job. So I would like to know what was the worst job you ever had, what was so bad about it and how long did you last? or what happened during the bad day at the job.
Anyways I had a job at this place called BioLab now I heard rumors about this place from others to not go there, because it's awful and it deals with chemicals but I decided to check it out. To make this short I worked there for a week and things seemed pretty good, my job would be to put empty bottles in a machine and making sure the labels come out good. Well anyways I go back yesterday after leaving for a while because they didn't have any work available. So here I am thinking I'm going back to my same old job, but nope my manager decided to move me somewhere else.
And this is where things got bad, he had me learn how to operate a machine and make sure the salicylic acid bottles were being put in boxes ready to ship out and also do some paper work as well. And oh boy, was it tough man. There were times were the machine wouldn't work properly and the acid bottles would spill, and I would honestly pray for that not to happened, because just taking a small whiff of it burns and I mean it literally burns inside your nostrils and your throat. I had a mask on and it didn't help one bit, because the smell was really strong. Throughout the entire day I was just miserable. Hoping that the acid doesn't spill but it did like 5-6 times and having to clean it up afterwards was brutal. And I had to be careful too, because if the acid bottles get stuck in the machine they can explode and I'll end up showered with acid. I almost had one explode in my face. o.O At the end of the day, all I wanted was to take a breath of fresh air and go home. They ended up calling me back to work again, but I didn't pick up though, I honestly wouldn't have my worst enemy work there. So yeah if you like breathing don't work at BioLab guys.

I'm self employed and the only job I've had. It has it's days where all you deal with is headaches but some days I really enjoy it. Like on Monday night we had a storm and this lady called saying a tree fell on the neigjbors deck and in her yard. Pretty cute girl ended up living there so I spent the day working and talking to her. It wAs a fun day joking back and forth.

I worked for a wrestling figure website for a w...oh. Whoops.
In seriousness though the worst job I had was a deli clerk. Nothing quite like customers who enjoy making your life miserable because you can't do anything back but smile.

I was an assistant sewage treatment plant operator. My boss was one of the most vile, disgusting people I've ever met. On my first solo weekend, the main pumps clogged. I thought I was following the normal cleaning procedure, but I forgot to bleed the pumps first. Once I pried the valve open, I had a nearly exploding flow of raw sewage spray the lower half of my body. (Go ahead and make the "poonami" joke.) Oddly enough, it doesn't stink as bad as you would think. But just thinking about it makes me gag a little. I lasted there about a year. My boss hated me & my feelings towards him were mutual. They let me go citing I wasn't civil certified, and that I didn't have a CDL license. But I got the last laugh. I let the EPA know he was dumping sewage into a nearby creek. From what I was told, they took away his sewage plant operators licences and fined him over $200,000. He ended up taking his own life a few years later. I know where he's buried & will eventually make a trek to piss on his grave.

You get chewed out by customers for no reason and when you are working by yourself and no other coworkers to help it's even worse

I've only ever had 2 jobs so I'd say my first one was my worst one. Zero training, too many bosses who couldn't agree, unfriendly co workers plus I had no sense of work ethic and a bad attitude at the time so part of the problem was probably my perspective.

I worked at a factory that made hvac filters. You'd think making such clean, important goods such as air filters that the place would be clean, but nope. Filthy. I got nosebleeds all the time from the dust. I worked in shipping so I walked like 5 miles a day in steel toed boots for $9 an hour. It was garbage. I remember one time I got a nose bleed and ended up having to pull a ten inch, stringy clot out of my nose from my throat. It was disgusting.

I've heard that the extra 1 or 2 dollars/hr for a deli position the horror stories isn't worth it. Worst job I had was working at a dog kennel. The job was literally chit. Especially picking it up. I've probably met every kind of breed of dog and the one little ****er that bit me was this little ass chiwawa. It bit me on my hand while putting it's food down in its pen.

Sounds brutal dude, I would of been getting nose bleeds from the acid if I decided to keep working at BioLab. You should of probably wore a mask man, it may not have fully helped but it would of been something.

It was 90 degrees or higher in the summer. Upwards of 110 inside the trailers as you load them. I tried a mask. Thought I was gonna suffocate.

Oh yeah I know what you mean dude I worked at those warehouse jobs as well and unloading trucks. It did get really hot in there and I lost like 10 pounds like every 2 weeks or so, but I felt it wasn't so bad. It's probably cuz I got use to it. I would rather unload trucks then work with chemicals again.

Banks, retail, warehouses, and kids, but never worked with chemicals. Guess I'm lucky.

Dollar tree, when I had my interview I was told I was going to be assistant manager and my first day comes I'm a cashier. My manager was this horrible little woman who acted like I told her I killed her dog, she singled me out for ups a coworker was responsible for.
