I'm no TNA fan but as a wrestling fan I don't want to see WWE buy them. That would hurt the business even more.

Every time I read your posts, I visualize Christoph Waltz typing it. This didn't help change that. Danke.

Drew Galloway said that Billy Corgan is buying the company. I don't know if it's some weird storyline they are doing or not. It's hard to tell because, well TNA. But he said at the PPV tonight "the only reason Billy Corgan is buying the company is because he gets Drew Galloway."

I feel like WWE is gonna lose the opportunity at purchasing TNA, if they keep on slow poking. What exactly are they waiting for?

I just want to see the Broken Hardy's in a long feud with the New Day. Is that too much to ask for?

According to PWInsider.com, TNA Chairman Dixie Carter held a talent meeting backstage at last nightâs TNA Impact Wrestling tapings. During the meeting, Carter took questions from the talents, and addressed a number of current issues. One of the questions asked by talents regarded late pay, and Carter explained that sometimes pay is late because TNA is waiting on money owed to the company so that they can pay out the talents. On reports of WWE potentially purchasing TNA, Carter acknowledged WWE wanted to purchase the company, but she said she would not let that happen. She added the TNA tape library is still under TNA ownership.Carter also reaffirmed that she is still the majority share holder in TNA, but she did say there has been some âin-fightingâ and power struggle amongst company owners. With regards to Bound for Glory, Carter admitted the company âscrambledâ leading up to the PPV, but said the PPV was never ânot going to happen.â Overall, Carter reportedly acted surprised that people in TNA were so âup in armsâ about the status of the company, but she did apologize if there has been concern or worry on behalf of talents and employees. At the end of the day, the general feeling in the locker room is that while there remains concern regarding the future of the company, there was respect for Carter stepping up and addressing the locker room. So she'd go out of business before she sold to WWE? If they file for bankruptcy I think WWE can still purchase the tape library from the creditors. Paul Heyman never sold ECW to WWE, Vince bought the rights to it from the creditors.

Sometimes I wish WWE WOULD buy TNA, but continue to operate it as yet another one of their brands (six-sided ring & all)..... & make it profitable.....
Wouldn't the WWE umbrella be much more robust & interesting if it had separate federations, including RAW.... Smackdown.... NXT...... & TNA...... and others (EVOLVE, etc) ?
They could have eventual cross-over Network Specials...... perhaps some brand wars (NXT VS. TNA).....
But I think Vince tends to view WWE is THE superior brand, when it could be even bigger - it could be the larger entity that contains ALL the brands..... with a handy WWE Network to air all the various brand PPVs.......
Think outside the box, Vince.......

Think outside the box, Vince....... In a perfect world yes. But it would be absorbed, talent misused and made a mockery of. Then become the same garbage, money hungry TV like WWE is today. Thats what WWE does unfortunately, instead of seeing The Biz grow with different company outlooks. Thats why wrestling is in a lull as far as Quality. But they make up for quality and creativity by selling Foam fingers and reality shows. Not to mention Scooby Doo movies
