Here's an idea that no one's floated around with regards to buying TNA and allowing it to continue on...
WWE iMPACT!
Six sided ring, TNA roster, make the Grand Championship its main title followed by the X Division Championship, Tag Titles and iMPACT! Women's Championship, and bring it to Full Sale. Change the colour scheme to green or orange or something.
Tape it the week after NXT and put it on the network.

But as others have said, Vince would pick the company apart; take what he wants and leave the scraps to fend for themselves on the indy scene.

The last thing WWE needs is more programming. With RAW, SmackDown and NXT they're fine.

Of course theres already conflicting reports as to whether its a done deal or not. But i would say the writing is on the wall for the tape library. As for the promotion itself, a total name change and new leadership may be the best thing to happen for the talent currently working there. It doesn't look like WWE has any particular interest in the talent side of things right now, but they could surprise us.......plus this would mean that a Mattel Joker Sting ,amongst many other figures, could be on the table? Who knows as of yet, but things certainly look like they're about to get very interesting if the initial reports hold true.

I don't get why some people want TNA to fail. They were the company that gave Drew Galloway and EC 3 a platform to be a star. After wwe did nothing with them. also TNA was the company to treat women as serious athlete's and Using indy talent as main eventers. long be fore wwe did.

I'm sorry, but NOBODY in TNA outside of Matt and Jeff are anywhere near "star" level. Lita, Trish Stratus, Victoria, Molly Holly, Jazz, etc. all say hello. Yes, TNA was doing smart business and elevating Indy talent and making them names people recognized. Back in 2004-2008. After that... a train wreck.

The only reason people are talking about Derrick Bateman nowadays is because of what TNA did in making EC3.

As a hard working individual, I don't want people to lose their jobs, period. I do, however, want WWE to acquire full rights to the TNA video library and the TNA trademark, licensing, PPV names, etc, but not the actual roster, so people keep their jobs. I just want to see TNA on the WWE Network, on future WWE DVD and Blu-Ray releases (think of the possible compilations and anthologies they could produce), and future WWE PPV's named after past TNA PPV's.

The odds of the WWE even bothering to put Impact or the like on their Network is terribly small. I dare say that WCW Thunder, Velocity and Heat are all things that would likely out rank Impact and TNA PPV's in terms of priority to get on the Network. E cause WWE never viewed TNA as competition. The odds of them using any of their PPV names is even less. The only thing they would do is buy the library to have it in the event they want to make an AJ Styles or Samoa Joe documentary. Or they could make "Sting: The Lost Decade"
