Come to Canada and take a look at our Elite 39 figures!! Just this past summer we got even more Elite 39 figures in with the Ghostbuster figures at Walmart. We had a bit of Elite 40 during that time frame, but not enough, and now the Legends Flashback line has hit our stores. But Elite 39 will not leave. They need to lower the elites to $15 and maybe they will sell. They are $24.95 here, and that comes out to like almost $30 a figure with tax. You've seen the legends flashbacks? the magnum ta line? What store? Thanks.

My Wal-Mart has had the same wave of WWE figures since March-April with only 1 or 2 updated waves since.. I don't shop stores for WWE anymore.. I haven't done that in a long long time. unrelated...how bad-ass would it be if that were Mace Windu putting his hand to r-2 as opposed to Luke?

I'll NEVER get how distribution works. One of the two Kmarts in my town announced closure earlier this month/late last month. I was there two weeks ago and a stock boy was putting out the NEW 31" Lesnars, Cenas and Rollinses. Went there yesterday, and they had sold all but 1 of the Rollinses. NOW, it looks like they re-stocked several cases of DM Hogans, as they had 32 on the shelf.

In the last few days I've gotten Enzo and Cass from Wal Mart finally a Corbin from another Wal Mart and the new Bayley today. Ordered Becky Braun Jericho and Crews from Amazon so I'm caught up for now I think with what I want.

Here's a different perspective that might actually prove the point some are making.
I just got back into collecting at the end of July. Before that I hadn't collected any figures since WWF Hasbro.
So in July I started going retail and getting EVERYTHING. I started by getting the Bulldog/Hacksaw Summerslam basics from Target and the Terry Funk elite at TRU one day after work and it started there.
I found myself going to about 5 local Walmarts, 4 Targets, 3 TRU, 4 Walgreens, an FYE, and a handful of Gamestops for figs. Here's how they breakdown:
Walmart:
- One is bare all the time. The last new thing they had was the Enzo & Cass BP which was a good score. That was over a month ago. Not a single new thing since outside of the TNF's. Only one I bought there was Breeze. Had all the others prior.
- Another Walmart I always get new stuff and has been my go to. They're the most up to date place in my area. They've had up to E43. They get new basics too.
- Another Walmart was great for TNF's and nothing else.
- Went to another WM once, they had nothing but a Mizdow and really old basics.
- The last WM got the TNF's and nothing else since I've checked.
Target
- All four in my area have been a waste outside of maybe the Dusty Ring and the Heenan/Horsemen 4 packs.
Walgreens:
- They all were good for the HBK exclusive and I've picked up E41 & 42 there, one fig at a time. That's the worst part. I can't get stuff there but I've never bought more than one at a time there. Shelf space is TINY.
FYE
- Only one in my area is in a dirt mall. It's crazy they're still open but they are. I got an Earthquake elite there but that's it. Rarely go there.
Toys R Us
- Great for Network Exclusives and that's about it. They get DM's first here too. Pretty behind on Elites as they all have the same series Big Lots does for $10.
Big Lots
- Good for a couple of visits. Got everything and not it's nothing new.
Been resorting completely to buying online lately. I get what I want but it's nowhere near as fun.

My area is terrible in my opinion. I don't get out as often as I like but that doesn't make much of a difference...this week I hit up a few stores TRU: Lita, 123 Kid, Balor, Bossman and Helmsly Elites. ALL with damaged/ripped cards. I'm not a MOC collector but they were bad enough that it irritated me lol. They also had some basics but they were mostly random Cenas. Kmart: Roman, Sin Cara, Sting basics. Vince and Austin Battle Pack Target: Hahahahahahahahahaha Tito Santana paradise along with a few $8 clearance Bo Dallas elites and the Dusty Ring. About 5 Four Horseman packs Walmart: B63 basics. Enzo and Cass BP (I had to pass due to money , McMahon and Austin and Whackers. I bought the only Corbin! Meijer: Zombies, Adam Rose and Bunny BP, J&J BP, Basic Zayn, Neville, Balor, Nattie and Cena I'm sorry I didn't include rings ect. I don't pay attention to those but they cramp shelves. Dayton is horrible with getting random stuff at random times. The best bets are flea markets or comic stores. I mean I've been randomly lucky this year. But I see a lot of the same crap. WalMart has had that dang Elite Vicious for ages. And the zombies are starting to warm badly. I'd like to just start buying online as I don't get out to the stores as often or when I do, it's all junk. I don't mind flea markets but that gets pricey. I get so behind that I buy 5 figures and I'm already $100 in the hole lol. Honestly it isn't just wrestling figures though. My little brother collects Disney Cars. He has over 150 so basically he has everything in the stores anyway lol. But they rarely get new things in. The Road Trip series was the last new ones and that was like 4 months ago. The Monster High section has stayed the same since March. I think the toy section is getting little attention. People are used to just buying online now. Sometimes I feel like a fool for going out haha. It'd be easier for me to buy online.

I've been buying online only for like a year now. Retail is completely ed. I remember the days when I'd only buy retail. The thrill of those hunts man. I miss em.

You guys know that instead of making these threads, you can search out the stores corporate numbers and make complaints or ask questions and try to actually get something done? Let's start there. Me: (Calls TRU Corporate) Hello, im calling to complain about the lack of figures in my store. TRU: According to out inventory tracker there are 30 figures in your local store Me: Yes but those are all Spotlight HHH's and some Sids. I want Elite 44. TRU: Our records show the figures in store are Elites, have a good day. I've been down that path before and it never leads to anything.

I feel like this is the feeling among the majority of the users around here: I believe what you said will likely be a scenario to happen, but I've seen more people complain and do nothing than attempt something. Too, if more people start doing this, they might look into it further and realize how [EXPLETIVE DELETED] their system is. It will realistically take several well mannered users several attempts before we put a chip in the wall. If people start taking pictures and sending them in to help get the point across, that will help too. What I think escapes people too is that the people they talk to don't know the line as well as we do. To them Elite is Elite and they don't know a shelf warmer any different than they know their ass from their elbow. These stores need to understand that their shelves are poorly stocked, stocked with figures not moving preventing good stock from being put out, are so far behind that they're losing business to online or other stores, etc. Persistence & pictures will be key, but like I said, there's a place to start if people want to see change.

Every store/region is different. Always posts about finding new things. This isn't the reboot ghostbusters merch, mattel has a feel and knows how well wwe figures sell. You all are over thinking things. Over the last year and a half I have sold over 1000 figures and accessories. I'm an analyst for a bank and paid to over think......but sometimes, you can't beat just having a good feel for things.
In the past there were decent explanations for certain figures not selling. But I genuinely believe sales are down from having a good look everywhere and hearing the story in the OP more and more.
In the UK an Elite is now 19 pounds. You buy the set that's the same as 137 dollars.
We've had the spotlights, 3 quickfire Elite series + lost legends. and Not even had the TNF. About 30 figures in no time at all. Nearly 700 dollars, JUST on Elites. Plus the readily available Basics, 2 packs and DM's which have been abundant here recently. It's TOO MUCH for your average buyer
Honestly, it seems like sales are down regionally and at retail. Im hearing more and more about people finally using amazon and other sites. Using this hoard as reference, its an impatient things mainly. If more people are buying more online, less will buy in store. Stores get flooded with older figures and it appears the line doesnt do well. Sure, mattel reps can see the state that some areas are in and do something, but they might not know or the stores main office might not know. My local walmart was in shambles for months, now they are the only place ive found anything new. Aside from online retailers, i dont know why some figures rot of shelves. Either too many produced or not enough interest. In the case of jyd..maybe they over estimated his legacy or took collectors opion too seriously. Who knows. I also feel like alot of posters on jere are way to impatient. You cant base rsc orders on retail dates. E43/e44 is still popping up and people are bitching for e45 already. But honestly, its almost the busiest time of year for retail..stores will restock.

I didn't read EVERYTHING here so sorry if someone else mentioned this... I'll add my own 2 cents. 2lil blurbs... Now I think they just changed this a month ago here but I could be wrong and I don't know if US walmarts are like this too... So last year walmart here in ottawa canada at least, had this weird stocking system. Its their 'pick' system. Let's say you brought in a bar code and had it scanned and their inventory said they had 40 of something but only 10 on the shelf. Well they weren't allowed to go look for it and get it for you. HOW STUPID IS THAT. Walmart would rather have product sit in the back, getting old than sell it. The Department Managers had to wait until that product was movd to their pick bin so they could put it out. That's one thing. Okay so your walmart could have e40 sitting in the back but until e39 SELLS those figs aren't coming out...hence why basics keep getting updated while I'm looking at Daniel Bryan figures from a year ago... Another blurb about this auto ordering system places have... so when e39 hit walmart canada last year they popped out 3-4 days before x-mas. So everyone had done their shopping done anyways and these figs were LATE. Got rid of all those Khalis though So I found a case of e39 on a skid (so maybe it wasn't even gonna hit the shelves for a few more weeks who knows) and got someone to open it. I bought bulldog, sting and godfather. Now they put the figs on the shelf and they sold within the week. So a new case was out out immediately. They sold...and then like most people, there was an onslaught of e39 mid year and it's been ROTTING ever since. When the DM stone cold came out, they had a full case. I saw it the day it came out cuz they weren't there the day before. So I figured I can wait - these aren't going anywhere. Skip a day, went back the day after and they were all gone. This NEVER happens here so I know someone bought them all (probably hoping to break them all day and sell em for parts or whatever)... so once again the computer ordered DOUBLE cuz it was such a hot seller. BUT, it really wasn't, and THOSE have been rotting since as well... So there's no real POINT to any of my ramblings...just wanted to share. I think overall, our desperation for new figs combined with scalpers have ruined us this year. I truly believe for so much of one product to be out there, e39 shipped LATE or retail shipped em late to their stores hoping to get rid of old stock first (seems like this year will be the same way) and thus, missing x-mas. Because we rushed for anything new (e39) and scalpers buying everything (austin), the computers were tricked - ordered more that they needed and we've been in retail hell ever since. Once again, this x-mas we'll be looking at old product... I'm glad wally world got rid of that system. I've stocked over nights and i believe it's better for the stocker to put out what they can as opposed to waiting for the computer to say it's ok thus leaving all the new stuff in the back.

I cant get mad over toys. What makes me mad is being lied to. I've called stores in the past to ask about products. And the answer is usually, IDK or yes we have it, and then when you get there they dont have what you asked for. Places like RSC are a god send because they have what they advertise and it's easy to shop. Try buying figures on Target's website. They have a long list of figures on there, but non available for purchase online. It'll say available in store, what store though? Certainly no store near me.

JYD rotted because they made too many and put it back out on the market. Same w/ both elite Bryans. E39 Sid and Mizdow are killing most stores

I didn't mean to make it look like I was directing that towards you, more piggy backing it with my thoughts. This is what I'm hoping to accomplish, Target's site sucks, right? Start bringing that to their attention. There really is no real reason why they can't have this bought up to them and have it pointed out. If the associate isn't of help, then try the store manager, if the store manager isn't good then go to the district manager, then regional, etc. There's so many people that can be contacted and talked to throughout all these stores. Unfortunately I can't agree with calling RSC a God send. But like I said, I've got a friend with a Mattel account and I do 99% of my ordering through them and I rarely, if ever, buy a figure in a store, unless its a store exclusive. I have no emotional investment in if stores get stocked properly or not, I'm just trying to help the people here complaining, but it seems like I really am wasting my time.
