How would you actually book Goldberg vs Lesnar? I mean... look at Goldberg... He "looks" in shape... but not in "wrestling" shape... I wouldn't book a match much longer than 10 minutes...
What I would do is start it fast. Goldberg surprises Lesnar and the fans right at the start with a very early spear, Jackhammer and pin attempt to shock the world. Lesnar would kick out at 2 and look shocked as Goldberg stars him down. Lesnar would back up and then go into MMA mode. Lesnar would take Goldberg down and ground and pound and not stop. The ref would pull him off, Lesnar would get back up. At this point if Goldberg was going to bleed in the match it would be there. When the fans think the ref is going to stop the match.... Lesnar would get off Goldberg, put his hands in the air and laugh. Then Lesnar would attack again and Goldberg would roll out of the ring. Lesnar would try to F5 Goldberg thru the announcers table. Goldberg would reverse and Jackhammer Lesnar thru the table. Both would be down and out for a while all of that would take place in the first 5 minutes of the match.
They would both make it back in the ring, at some point Lesnar gets cut open... but ultimately Lesnar would finish it with a F5 for the win... maybe at the 11 minute mark... I think a short match would work if both guys were a bloody mess by the end of it...
sure Lesnar vs Taker at WM was a good 25 minutes.. and Shane vs Taker was like 28 minutes. but... Goldbergs longest match ever... was 14:57 vs HHH in 2003 ..

I wouldn't make it the main event, and I wouldn't let it go anymore than 8-10 minutes. Goldberg has never been a long match guy, and he's older. I think it should be a few big power moves from both of them, and then the finish. I feel like Lesnar should win, so I could see it ending in about 8 or 9 minutes after an F5.

Have both guys circle around each other for 5 minutes.
Followed by a couple of lock ups that end with a mild push apart from both men.
Lesnar goes for a German only to be met with an elbow.
Goldberg goes for a suplex and it's blocked by Brock.
Crowd starts booing both guys.
Goldberg hits a spear that Lesnar no sells.
Lesnar hits a sloppy F5 for the win.
Both guys cash their big checks immediately.
Neither show up for RAW the next night.

Samoa Joe destroys them both during their introductions. Samoa Joe becomes a new Paul Heyman Guy as Heyman says he needs to back someone who can be in WWE more than just once every three months.

I have no idea how to book this match or even who should win, but I'd say a good place to start would be to look at Goldberg's Halloween Havor 1998 match against DDP. When I saw it live on PPV, it came across as a truly epic encounter. Watching it again just a couple of months ago, I realized that it's only like 8 or 9 minutes long, bell-to-bell. If they can figure out how to replicate that kind of formula, I think the match can be successful.
Working against that, however, is the fact that in the last 15 years we've seen nothing but finishing move kickout spam that honestly makes it pretty tough to surprise anyone anymore. My hope is that they can have a decent match with a surprising result that isn't marred with overbooking. On that note... good luck to everyone involved in delivering with this match.

I could see them circling for 10 minutes in the ring, and then when they go to lock up..... they kiss. For it turns out all this time it was just sexual frustration between the two.
They then skip around the ring, holding hands, and the audience isn't sure of what to make of it. And that is how Survivor Series goes off the air.

-- ^ XD --- I'd have them actually work for 5min into the match. Suddenly, Paul grabs a mic at ringside and interrupts the match, walking up the steps and into the ring. Paul praises both stars, while each are wanting to continue, Paul keeps separating the 2 (almost out of desperation). Paul then convinces that each of them are better allies than they are enemies - and that together, they can rule carnage over RAW. Some hesitation on both men, when Paul whispers something into Brock's ear (Brock smiles). Then Paul being very cautious, whispers into Goldberg's ear... Goldberg nods in agreement. And the 3 leave together, leaving everyone baffled as to what Paul whispered in each guy's ear. This would obviously lead to a Lesnar/Goldberg super-duo. Let's be real, Brock needs a new 'hook' (not a new gimmick, but something different), and Goldberg has obviously got to be rusty AF (unless he's been to the performance center, which has not been reported). The smartest thing WWE can do, is pair them up ("Duo of Devastation" or "Beasts of Burden" or whatever moniker). This way, they can take the straps off of New Day at Road Block; defend them successfully at Royal Rumble beating New Day not only in the match, but post-match also..... Samoa Joe makes his debut and tries to fend off Brock & Bill, but is over-powered..... Shinske's music hits and the crowd flips the F out!! Nakamura (who's always wanted to wrestle Bill and who has wrestled Brock in NJPW) comes to Joe's aide. And this sets up the WrestleMania match: Brock Lesnar & Bill Goldberg (c) w/ Paul Heyman vs. Samoa Joe & Shinske Nakamura - RAW Tag Team Championship (Goldberg inadvertently spears Lesnar, 1 Nakamura knee strike later, NEW Champs! Post: Paul gets in Goldberg's face and just as Goldberg is about to put away Heyman, Brock turns Goldberg around and delivers an F5. Brock & Paul leave Goldie in the ring as they leave WrestleMania). The RAW PPV after WM, we finally see a full match with Lesnar vs. Goldberg, and this time around, Brock finally conquers Bill. Goldberg gets a send off after the match, wife & kid in the ring and he gets to go home with his family by his side. The End

pretty simple. i would have had brock threaten goldberg's family, enraging goldberg to the extent that he attacks paul and brock before their entrance is over. fight through crowd. goldberg is about to throw paul over a balcony until brock stops him with the first chairshot to the head in wwe in years. wwe sells the crap out of it. a concussed goldberg, despite doctor's orders, still goes after brock on raw and is suspended. all leading towards an inevitable wrestlemania match.

I don't want Goldberg to lose but hey it's gonna happen. I just hope we don't get the same crap we've been getting for the last four lesnar matches which is suplex after suplex. It gets repetitive. Hopefully they have Lesnar anialate Goldberg at first then Goldberg gets the upper hand and maybe have a few spots like a jackhammer into an f5. Or they could end in a draw and then have Goldberg lose on another ppv. I just want Goldberg vs Taker before either retire.
