I like the idea of this Tournament but that Championship sucks. Doesn't look great, and is pretty much another clone of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Awful.

Sure. Fine. I mean I probably won't find the time to watch it. But go for it.

More titles is unnecessary. The point of a cruiserweight champion I can see, but a U.K. championship? Why? So it can be defended just between wrestlers of the U.K.? It makes ZERO sense in my eyes. It's just another excuse for wwe to buy out ALL of the indie stars to hurt the indie scene like they've been trying to do for the past several months. They sign all of this talent and then don't know what the hell to do with them, just to make sure nobody else has them. He said at the press conference that they're going to be producing a new weekly show from the UK for UK wrestlers on the network, it's like they're setting up their own UK fed and using this title for that. I have no problem with that whatsoever.

I like the title.... it's more interesting that just the big W ... looking at the wrestlers in the tournament, I don't know if this is going to be an ongoing thing on RAW or Smackdown. pick any of those guys... give them the title.. and what happens when one of the current main roster guys beats them... this whole tournament meant nothing then because the main roster guys could have just won it in the first place... I could however see this as a stepping stone to creating a UK-NXT promotion.

Excellent news.
I think some people who want people from the main roster joining are missing the point. This tournament is about unsigned talent from UK to make a name for themselves.
That said I'd love to see Sabre back in this. If only Scurll and Ospreay weren't signed. They would have killed it.
Looking forward to this, Dunne and Moustache Mountain for the win. But this is an excellent opportunity for lesser know names to make a name for themselves.
Can't believe it kicks off in Jan.

i would of preferred the European title This is the exact opposite reason why I love it so much. It's not too "European" or too "United Kingdom". It looks like a Championship Title Belt fit for the King of the WWE. I know earlier I said I want it, but now I feel like I need it!!

Gutted Joe Hendry isn't in it. Will be interesting to see if they go for a UK show. Just recently ICW had a show with over 8000 in attendance at the Hydro in Glasgow (Where WWE were in November) and just recently British wrestling was back on TV with World of Sport so wondering if Vince sees this a market he should be targeting. I like the belt although being petty I would rather it be called 'The British Championship' but I can live with 'The United Kingdom Championship'

Also, to people who are already bitching about Neville not being in it......he's not in it for the same reason Kalisto wasn't in the CWC. Neville is an already established WWE Superstar. shoddy booking aside. This tournament/show is not meant for CURRENT guys. It's meant to showcase different talent, guys you've potentially never seen before. But if they are branching out with a CWC show and possibly a European show, put current guys in this. I would rather see Neville doing interesting matches on a WWE C level show then pandering at the bottom of the card on the main event.

I heard there's also Irish wrestlers involved too. Why does WWE think that Ireland is apart of the UK? Sure Northern Ireland is, but that's a different country to the Republic of Ireland. Then again, WWE think places like Newcastle & Preston are just a twenty minute drive away from London.

Then again, WWE think places like Newcastle & Preston are just a twenty minute drive away from London. I think it's more due to the fact most Irish wrestlers wrestle on the British wrestling scene.

Everything about this is lame.
In the CWC I knew at least five of the guys. I know not one guy in this thing. There's also no need for a UK title belt that looks like it was made in WWE 2K's creation suite. I'll pass on this tournament like most of the CWC.
But I do like the idea of WWE having a UK territory sort of thing.

Title looks great. Better than the other ones and very cool wwe is expanding the brand like this. Can only help marketing and getting those wrestlers on the roster. I believe this is the Wwe's #2 market so makes sense. Well played

That's one nice looking title, I probably won't watch the tournament though, cuz it feels like WWE is making a gimmick out of it now.

Then what? Will the championship be defended on the main roster? Will the competitors have their own show? 205 Live: UK Edition
