More titles is unnecessary. The point of a cruiserweight champion I can see, but a U.K. championship? Why? So it can be defended just between wrestlers of the U.K.? It makes ZERO sense in my eyes. It's just another excuse for wwe to buy out ALL of the indie stars to hurt the indie scene like they've been trying to do for the past several months. They sign all of this talent and then don't know what the hell to do with them, just to make sure nobody else has them. He said at the press conference that they're going to be producing a new weekly show from the UK for UK wrestlers on the network, it's like they're setting up their own UK fed and using this title for that. I have no problem with that whatsoever. Like I said, Trying to monopolize the Indie-game right now. The U.K. scene is booming as of now and WWE is trying to kill it by introducing this. So yes, it is a problem, not one that you would care about.

It'd be cool if this ended up being a UK indie title, the CW division is dead in the water as this would probably be if they made a UK division but I think this should be the main title in the UK, the champ going around different companies defending it etc

Also where tf is Jimmy Havoc? there's a lot of noteworthy names missing. Besides Zack Sabre (who is unforgiveably missing) and Jack Gallagher, Marty Scrull, Will Ospreay, Jimmy Havoc, and from the main roster, Neville, who there's no reason AT ALL isn't in this. Or a former WWE British star of the past (in the Spanky/Tajiri role) though I'm failing to think of who.

i would of preferred the European title This is the exact opposite reason why I love it so much. It's not too "European" or too "United Kingdom". It looks like a Championship Title Belt fit for the King of the WWE. I know earlier I said I want it, but now I feel like I need it!! it says SMACK dab in the middle United Kingdom... if they took that off it'd be perfect, I'm curious how they are going to implement this. will it be exclusive to the uk show will it make it to the main roster? if it stays as a WWE UK show and only there I'm ok with it but if its brought to the main roster I'd rather it have been a european title 2.0

I try to watch as much wrestling as I can and keep it diverse but I have no idea who any of the participants are. Just for the attraction of some star power, it would have been nice to get some guys like Drew Galloway, Wade Barrett, or Magnus but I guess they are all under contact elsewhere or not interested.
As far as the belt goes, of all the new Network Logo designed belts this one looks the most like an actual championship belt to me. I wish they would modify the WWE World and Universal belts so that the center piece had something more than just the really big logo in the middle. Maybe one with an eagle and one with a globe to add that classic belt feel to them.

Nice to see people burying this idea already.
I'd love to see a UK based weekly show on the network. I mean the first W does stand for WORLD. I'd definitely watch it. The UK independent scene is the best in the world, good to see WWE acknowledging this.
If you're not interested, just don't watch instead of mocking it.

Instead of calling it the ''UK Title'' couldn't they just call it the European Title?
I do agree though with everybody else in that it looks way better than the main rosters HW belts.

This came out of nowhere. Will be very interesting. I bet WWE is wishing they could've got their grubby hands on Marty Scurll and Will Ospreay for this

I heard there's also Irish wrestlers involved too. Why does WWE think that Ireland is apart of the UK? Sure Northern Ireland is, but that's a different country to the Republic of Ireland. Then again, WWE think places like Newcastle & Preston are just a twenty minute drive away from London. I remember when the WWE would have shows in Saitama Super Arena in Japan and they would announce the show as being in Tokyo, even though Saitama is a totally different city with its own unique attractions. It would be like New Japan Pro Wrestling having a show in Anaheim and announcing it as being in Los Angeles.
