So thats why there were times that they would show the ring more during someone's entrance. If thats the case, they shoud have gone retro and went with a mini ring for everyone in the Rumble tonight.

You guys act like Orton isn't popular and make up all these stupid ass reasons behind why he's cheered and stuff. It's really sad lol it's as if you don't hear the reaction he gets when he comes out and during his matches.

I don't know where everyone is getting that Strowman looked weak. I was surprised he didn't run in after his elimination and starting going mental but if anything it just made Corbin look badass.
He destroyed (an admittedly weak) Reigns earlier in the show who's overcome so many odds the past few years to almost Cena like levels. In the Rumble itself, the entire first third revolved around him effortlessly throwing anything with a pulse over the top rope.
They kept referencing him beating Reigns record. I expected him to match it, Reigns to interfere (instead of enterinh the match) and eliminate Strowman setting up their feud.
I was almost disappointed it didn't happen but was happy with Corbin getting the rub.
I thought they did a pretty good job protecting Strowman tbf, which I'm glad with as he's finally growing on ne

The Royal Rumble match itself was such a huge letdown
They need to stop giving away spots to people like Ellsworth, Gallagher, Dillinger, Rowley, Enzo, even Xavier Woods. If they insist on letting these type people in them they need to up the count to 40. You need at least a couple of nostalgic entrants.
And why in the world would you not have Joe, Nakamura, and/or Bobby Roode? Let them mix it up with the main talent. If you want to protect them, have them eliminate each other, or get eliminated by someone respectable and plant seeds for something down the line
I just don't get their decision making a lot of times
Another note - I would rather see John Cena fight AJ, Seth, KO, Triple H or even Orton, than to be wasted away with The Undertaker. It is time to hang up the boots IMO. Time has caught up with him (and Goldberg!!). They are not convincing at all, in the time when they are in there with the regular guys Just go away
Roman vs KO - entertained as hell
Cena vs AJ - just wow. Awesome match
Rumble match - 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Just another annoyance of mine... It looks a little ridiculous when Roman gets chokeslamed on the announce table, and put through a table by Strowman, then comes out later in the night looking 100% fresh like nothing ever happened to him. And yet, others have complained that Reigns came out doing the big sympathy sell from a match over an hour earlier. Which complaint is accurate?

They just refuse to accept the fact that Reigns is a failed product.

It only serves to add more fuel to the fire of the "we hate Roman Reigns" bandwagon. It's just baffling as to why WWE are happy to keep on stoking that fire Because it gets the biggest reactions. When Finn Balor or whoever beats Roman Reigns, it's a much bigger moment if they're beating Vince-appointed Superman Roman Reigns than it would be if they're beating Standard Heel Roman Reigns. From the full time roster, the only way they can ever elicit any strong emotion these days is by having an internet guy face Reigns or Cena. And those dynamics work so well precisely because of the "we hate Roman Reigns" bandwagon.

Some thoughts and I know some have been beat to death here:
1.) Cena/Styles should have been saved for Mania. It's too good of a feud in the ring and on the mic to not be a main event at the biggest show of the year. If they are leading up to Wyatt winning the title in the Chamber and Styles facing Shane, why not have AJ go over dirty and then lose in the Chamber?
2.) Why do they continually waste spots in the Rumble for guys like Crews, Ellsworth, Gallagher, Henry? I understand alot of these guys are their horses and are constantly on the road and this is sort of a reward, but when a Rumble is as unpredictable as this (8 unannounced spots) those guys should never have even been in consideration.
3. Reigns. For the love of god, I honestly have this vision in my head of Vince and Dunn backstage in gorilla snickering and holding back laughter like Lloyd and Harry (in Dumb and Dumber) when they did the wide shot of the stage and dramatic pause. Then as soon as the Shield music hit those two morons burst into tearful laughter. I have never seen any entertainment company troll its fans the way Vince does, whether it is intentional or unintentional. Out of the numerous guys they had in the back or on NXT, Reigns who had already lost (which gave Strowman a hero's ovation) gets the spot and eliminates Taker.....ughhhh
Its hard to justify wasting time watching WWE at this point. I'm 26 and should enjoy watching a program, not be continually frustrated and confused by simple logic.

Reigns eliminating The Undertaker...still in shock about that considering last night because Undertaker I thought that he would have come back into the ring and eliminated Roman but Reigns seemingly stared Taker down and managed to live to fight another day...it is obvious we are going to get Undertaker/Reigns
If it results in a Reigns heel turn then I'm happy

Strowman coming in cleaning house he should have lasted longer in the Royal Rumble Match honestly...but seeing Corbin eliminate Strowman now that was huge but Strowman should have stayed in longer

Orton winning the Royal Rumble Match for the second time...I don't have a problem with it at all really because if I had a choice between him and Reigns then I would go Orton every time and seeing Orton eliminate Reigns last was what made it all worth it
But why even waste #30 on Reigns?
The only problem I had with the Rumble other than Reigns being #30 was the waste of spots on entrants like Gallagher and Ellsworth

I'm glad Kenny Omega decided to stay in NJPW, WWE is a mess and the Royal Rumble was proof. That was the worst Rumble match I've ever seen and I'm surprised Samoa Joe didn't debut on the main roster.

I know right perfect time to bring Joe in was the Royal Rumble Match but proof that WWE Creative and Vince have no idea what they are doing

Seeing Lesnar humiliated yet again by Goldberg I was half expecting Lesnar to come back into the ring and destroy Goldberg eliminating him or I would have expected Lesnar to go on a rampage eliminating superstars even being eliminated

I'm a huge Enzo mark, but they essentially had him serve the same purpose Ellworth did.....get fed to a big boy and tossed out like a joke. Instead of wasting a spot on Enzo, or Gallagher they could have even threw HHH out there only to have Rollins come through the crowd and toss him over the top. Things like this and missed opportunities frustrate me to no ends, and really makes me wonder how WWE is still around.

I would have rather had Roman Reigns win the Universal Title than to have him be anywhere near The Undertaker. Clearly the rumors were true and Undertaker is indeed going to have a match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
Unless Roman Reigns somehow comes away from FastLane with the Universal Title and Undertaker beats him at WrestleMania.....but if Roman Reigns just straight up beats Undertaker at WrestleMania.....I had a major problem with that.
I know in Vince McMahon's warped, senile, delusional old brain he thinks that it's going to make Reigns if he beats Taker and then after the match Taker raises his hand or tips his cap or in someway gives his approval to Roman Reigns....but it's not going to work.
The only thing that would even REMOTELY work is if Undertaker beats Roman Reigns, and then after the match Roman Reigns turns full on heel and beats the Undertaker up so badly that they can write him off TV to explain why Undertaker likely will do his annual "disappear for almost a year".
