Honestly don't understand Strowman destroying Reigns and then Reigns going on to forget all about it and start his own thing with The Undertaker. What the heck is happening here. Braun vs Roman at Fastlane to face Taker at Mania perhaps?
I never expected Orton to win, I just... what?

Orton winning the Royal Rumble Match for the second time...I don't have a problem with it at all really because if I had a choice between him and Reigns then I would go Orton every time and seeing Orton eliminate Reigns last was what made it all worth it But why even waste #30 on Reigns? The only problem I had with the Rumble other than Reigns being #30 was the waste of spots on entrants like Gallagher and Ellsworth Bingo, I had more of a problem with Ellsworth in the Rumble once Enzo entered. I'm a huge Enzo mark, but they essentially had him serve the same purpose Ellworth did.....get fed to a big boy and tossed out like a joke. Instead of wasting a spot on Enzo, or Gallagher they could have even threw HHH out there only to have Rollins come through the crowd and toss him over the top.Things like this and missed opportunities frustrate me to no ends, and really makes me wonder how WWE is still around. That would have been incredible. Right now, that's the match that's making me feel like all the money I'm spending to go to WrestleMania isn't a waste. I loved what they did on NXT, but I wish it would have gotten some development last night, specifically with something involving Rollins going rogue on the PPV. Honestly don't understand Strowman destroying Reigns and then Reigns going on to forget all about it and start his own thing with The Undertaker. What the heck is happening here. Braun vs Roman at Fastlane to face Taker at Mania perhaps? I never expected Orton to win, I just... what? Yeah. Taker definitely won't be wrestling at Fastlane. So this gives Roman a filler feud to get him to a feud with Taker that will most certainly feature limited amounts of Taker. The Braun/Reigns feud will fill up the next 5 weeks, Roman will get the "big win" over Braun at Fastlane, and then they can jump head first into Taker/Reigns. In retrospect, everyone should realize that every ounce of effort they've pumped into Strowman has been for Roman Reigns, so that Reigns looks strong when he beats him at a B level PPV, prior to heading into the PPV WWE actually cares about, with one of the few guys they actually care about.

Bad rumble, no returns, no Kane or Goldust. Big names all at the end, what are the odds!? Cena 16x give me a break. Only two entrants came in 2 minutes after the previous. All the times were way off ranging from 1min 30 sec to 2 min 59 seconds...

Roman Reigns is the ultimate troll and I love it. Reading through this thread has made last night that much better!

I thought the Rumble was filled with hits and misses. Unfortunately, not 1 legend was brought back. The 8 unannounced spots were less than stellar. I get Mark Henry bc it was in Texas but the rest were so underwhelming. I knew we wouldnt see HHH bc of what happened on NXT. Im ok with Reigns and Taker if it turns him heel. WWE had to know by putting him at 30 he would be booed like no other. How much more do they need to see before they make him heel? Im OK with Cena winning but I feel this feud goes all the way to Mania. Very shocked to see KO come out with the title. Maybe we will see him ad Jericho but who knows with WWE.

I still think they should have had like a video pop up on the screen that said "I.....AM.....KENNY" to some cool rock music....then the arena could go dark for like 10 seconds....and then:

Yeah.. anyone thinking Orton isn't over is delusional. The dude got cheered by half the crowd at SummerSlam 2013 when he cashed in on Bryan. People love Randy. Heel or face. Doesn't matter. Orton gets one of the top pops on every show. He's Randy ing Orton.

Orton is over, but I was surprised to see him win. Wondering what happens with the Wyatt situation. The storyline to me has been so weak outside of Harper last night. I hope they go their own ways. Orton has not been good in that at all.

But I see this as Wyatt winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship inside the Elimination Chamber to set up Wyatt/Orton for the title and if that goes down honestly it would kind of make sense given the history and you have Orton put Wyatt over then it's perfect

It's easy to say "let's all see what happens." But how many of you actually bought Wrestlemania tickets? Yes, it's a case of caveat emptor, and nothing was guaranteed, but as of now, unless there's some amazing plan to make Ric Flair's 16 time record a blip in history by having Cena drop the title in 2 weeks, we're getting Orton vs. Cena again. I've seen it many times. I've seen it a decent amount of times live. I COULDN'T CARE LESS TO SEE IT AT MANIA WHEN I PAID NEARLY 4K TO GO TO IT. The only thing that I'm happy about is that once a record is tied or broken, WWE moves on. That's why New Day lost the title immediately after breaking Demolitions record. That's why Nikki Belle dropped the title immediately after breaking AJ Lee's record. So maybe Cena drops it at EC. Or maybe Vince thinks Cena vs Orton is the way to go. Either way, I'm thoroughly regretting my purchase. WOuld I have loved to see AJ Styles walk into Mania champion? Yes. Am I excited about the prospect of him vs Shane?Nope. Nothing makes up for the fact that we're getting a bunch of part timers hogging the glory while getting force fed Roman Reigns over and over again. I want to say WWE is trolling us, but they're not that bright. While I will undoubtedly share in your buyers remorse regarding Mania if all of these worst-case scenarios come to fruition, I really don't think Cena/Orton is going to happen. But, as for the part-timers thing, that was never in doubt. Wrestlemania is the part timer show, and there was absolutely no indication that was going to change this year. Anyone buying tickets has to go into it understanding that. It's bad business, and it eventually will hurt them, badly, but until it does, they won't stop doing it. I expected SOME part-timers to be a focal point (Goldberg, Lesnar, Triple H and Taker). I don't think anyone expected them to be the focal point of the show. You have Triple H vs. Rollins (1Part-timer), Cena vs. Orton (1 part-timer), Goldberg vs. Lesnar (2 part-timers), and Undertaker vs Reigns (1 Parttimer). The one champion making 1 of the 2 main belts mean something is right now off the card and off of feuds. He gets a guaranteed rematch, but I can see Shane saying "You'll get your rematch in time. For now, it's Elimination Chamber" and then it's "You'll get it after Wrestlemania". I don't think Cena v. Orton will happen. Maybe it'll be Triple Threat like HBK/TripleH/Murderer or Bryan/Evolution. Either way, Orton is in a title match again at Wrestlemania. I hope the crowd Hijacks the show big time.

The two title matches (Owens/Reigns and AJ/Cena) were great... the Rumble itself was pretty good too - although I was kind of disappointed that Orton won (...babyface Orton doesn't do much for me, I'm afraid). I was hoping either Jericho would win (and go on to feud with/face Owens) or Taker to face Cena.
I was also a bit disappointed that we didn't get any returning guys/Legends for the great nostalgia pop - I'd have much preferred them over jobbers like Apollo Crews and freaking Mojo Rawley(!).
Oh, and I thought for sure that Roman would come out and attack/cause Braun Strowman to be eliminated...(?)

They should have left him in until the end and had Lesnar, Goldberg AND Taker all have to eliminate him together. The fact that he got taken out by a bunch of midcarders made everything he did in the entire Rumble match useless and a waste.

Yeah an even better scenario is having Harper and the returning Rowan cost Orton the title at Mania and with all 3 of them reunited on Smackdown Live The Wyatt Family can take over Smackdown making it their show it is genius

Corbin eliminating Strowman I don't have a problem with but by him doing that Corbin I would have liked him to dominate right after eliminating men until the big dogs got in there which would have built Corbin up even more

I really enjoyed this show. I thought it was really well booked from start to finish.
Great World/Universal Championship matches and a very well booked Rumble match.
Some odd choices in the rumble match(participants), but overall I thought it was a good rumble match. Nicely booked to create/advance stories. I think the final minutes of the match were great. WWE knew exactly what they were doing when they had Reigns come out at number 30 and eliminate The Undertaker. They knew, Reigns knew, everyone knew he would get massive heat. I think they got exactly what they wanted.
Great show.
