I personally like them. I have the Austin and love it. the rock I didn't like so I passed. didn't expect to see many positive responses since this a mattel board lol. I posted a pic of my figuarts Austin next to a mattel Austin and there was absolutely no way you could compare the mattel to the figuarts and ppl still said mattels was better which baffled me but then again we are intitled to our opinions lol.
I think in some cases its crazy though. someone compared the figuarts Harley Quinn to the mattel multiverse one which looked like garbage to begin with and some ppl STILL said that the mattel was better! I just don't get it

I'm not a fan of Figuarts figures. They do not do a realistic enough job representing what the exposed human body looks like.
They knock it out of the park on super heros when all they need to do is replicate the head/face, cartoons, and other fantasy based characters.
But on what we have seen so far with Austin, Rock, Undertaker, Kane and Vince McMahon.....I am not a fan of the figures when 90% of the body is showing. The articulation really makes the bodies look unrealistic, and they have not made the figures muscular enough to represent the actual people.
Figuarts Power Rangers, Ninja Turtles, etc......great. WWE figures? I am not a fan.
I hope whoever buys them ejoys them, but I will not be purchasing.

I just don't get it In Harley's case the Figuarts figure blows Mattel's out of the water in terms of sculpt, but Figuarts seem so frail and fragile compared to a Mattel figure. I do have figuarts Triple H preordered because it is Triple H, but the Figuarts figures have little to zero muscle definition to them. And again the will be so frail and fragile compared to an Elite. If they ever make Sting, Piper, Bret Hart, Orton, Jericho I will probably buy those also, but for now it is just Triple H. For the $50 price point I just don't see the value of a figure that will just seem frail and fragile to me. So they will have to be some of my all-time favorites for me to want to spend $50 .

I don't think they are frail at all. I have a few different figuarts and they all seem to hold up nicely. im a figuarts fan, im a higher end collector in general now but as far as the wwe stuff goes ill be picking up pieces here and there def wont be getting everything they put out. I got the Austin which I like a lot. the rock I didn't like at all though. ill prob wind up getting the undertaker and possibly HHH depending on how the final product looks.

I have a couple of them and they feel very fragile. Especially in the hips, wrists and shoulder designs. Same thing with MaFex figures. Although MaFex are more fragile than Figuarts. But the drop down hip designs they both use I despise. I absolutely have that design.

The scans on these figarts have been laughable
You'd expect way better for that price
They look like people cosplaying as wrestlers

I only have 1 mafex figure that being the dark knight movie batman v 2 which is pretty good but ive held the BVS superman and I couldn't believe how bad the joints were. they popped out when you moved them in any direction lol

Especially seeing I pose my figures in vanilla stances on my shelves. They are the sole reason the MaFex BvS Batman isn't my favorite BvS Batman figure. If they made the same exact figure, but with the Multiverse/DCUC hip design that would be my favorite figure.

Do the hips drop down too easily on Batman? The Figuarts are usually tight and stay up in place until you actually pull down on them.

That's my favorite Kane attire and it looks better than both Jakks -!: Mattel's efforts, but I won't buy it since it's not in scale with anything else I own and the rest of the Figuarts look awkward.

I just don't like how they come across visually. I just can't stand how they look...But they do feel fragile.

I can understand why people aren't into these, but for me, Kane is great.

I'm not going to buy them but I don't think they look anywhere near as bad as most seem to be making them out. Rock and Austin both turned out better once the final product shipped. These will probably be the same. I have no problem spending $60 on a figure if I like it. The Figuarts Turtles and Freddie Mercury are off the charts and I think their Nintendo stuff is great as well. So if they end up putting out someone I really want, like HBK, I'd consider grabbing one of these. I think it's great we have more options. If you like good quality Nintendo figures. You have to get the Figma ones. They've done a bunch of Links, Zelda, Lucina, Corrin, Pit, Dark Pit and Samus. They have a pretty good range of game characters beyond Nintendo, including Akira from Virtua Fighter and Solid Snake. Phoenix Wright is coming out soon too!

Just looked at some pics and bought it on Amazon, arriving tomorrow. First Figuarts purchase! I may get Rock and Austin when I'm in the US for Mania, but I haven't been too impressed by them in pics.

I currently have a small(ish) collection of Figma, both the current Links, Lucina and Akira. I've pre-ordered Pheonix Wright because I wanted the exclusive face he came with on the goodsmile store. There are quite a few I want to pick up that have been released like Snake and Samus. I can't wait for the Twilight Link and Zelda too!
