2003 Kane looks on point. I only wish they included an head from the night he was unmasked. I really love the rolled back eyes and the thumbs up hand they gave for Taker's throat slash taunt. Crossing my fingers the airbrushed shading on the skin becomes more even as the figures roll on. There seems to be great detailing on the face, but the paint on Rock & Austin's bodies looked intermittent.

I like what Figuarts did with the Super Mario and Power Rangers figures, but these WWE figures look terrible. I especially hate how the stomach had to be cut the way it was so it could be posed better.

I tell you, I feel like a lot of the complaints of the SHFiguarts figures are akin to me bashing McFarlane figures for not being posable. I mean, sure, but that was never the point. Articulation is always going to require compromises in sculpt, but having gotten a much of SHFiguarts figures in recent months, I can tell you that the articulation on these is out of this world. And the heads are just so above and beyond anything you see in mass market toys. Pictures don't always do them justice on that as the face-printing technology can look awkward in photos, but in person it just looks stunning.
That said, I had some minor issues with Austin/Rock. Rock became my first SHFiguarts figure to break on me trying to swap out hands. The elbow is somewhat complicated with a pin and a hinge to allow for better range of motion, but the pin is a point to be careful with. Stone Cold's issue is that the face-printing looks more than a little awkward when it isn't continued for the rest of the head. It could be managed better with a smoother transition, but this will be something to watch with on Kane. But both of these figures are just incredibly fun to pose and you can get some amazingly naturalistic poses from them. These are definitely not figures to smash into each other or to just admire clean, seamless sculpt work, but for the right audience these are really fantastic toys.

(Mattel executive laughing) Undertaker figure looks like they used a JAKKS head. JAKKS had amazing scans for Taker. (Shrugs shoulders) Ok, it was just a joke

If I'm going to spend $56 on a figure of Undertaker, they've gotta do better than that.

I really, REALLY wish Undertaker was an earlier version with tie (grey or purple) and jacket. Hell even Attitude era with weird high collared cloak! I'd prefer classic Kane too but I "get" that, less options for heads and all.

For some reason my comment was scrubbed which asked for people to stop being so rude and calling everyone who likes these stupid, while the comments about people being stupid are still here. I've bought many SH Figuarts. I haven't received my Rock yet but I am excited. I'm totally down. I have the two Bruce Lee figures, Mace Windu, Tony Stark, Iron Man Mark 46, and Harley Quinn. They are my favorite action figures at the moment. If you think these are a waste of money st $50ish then I can't convince you otherwise. Let me just say that they have me rethinking how I collect and what is worth my money these days.

Funny these people saying this is crap... Jakks figures were ugly toys.
These are works of art, although it seems Kane is way too short.

A few years ago, I started to take a more critical look at my figure purchases, be it ML, Star Wars, WWE, or DC. At one point I was buying every Elite released. I'm just throwing this out there as an example, but look at E48. Do I really need another Ambrose, Kalisto, Ziggler and Rowan. That $80+ can go to a more exceptional figure (or into the bank ).

At my peak I had something like 820 Mattel WWE figures. I bought every set that came out at one point. It was an addiction for me. I'm never gonna be able to quit collecting, it's in my blood. However, what is happening is that when I buy premium toys they force me to buy less due to cost but also satisfy me far greater. The addiction didn't start overnight. In the first year of Mattel WWE figures I only bought six or seven. I just got caught up in the avalanche of releases and the challenge of getting full sets. Didn't matter if I had fifty Cenas that looked near-identical. Those days are finally behind me. I'll still buy Mattel but in smaller quantities and of people I actually love.

I have kept an eye on this line of figures and I've yet to be sold on them. Then my interest peaked with the news we were getting an Undertaker and Kane... My excitement just bottomed out. Like others have said - why this era of Undertaker? A debut or 96-99 era and my money would be theirs... Anything but his least interesting attire or recent years. Kate is good enough (again I would've preferred a debut attire) Sorry, but these are not for me - I'll stick with Mattel

Got my first Figuarts figure today, Freddie Mercury. It looks pretty great and is very poseable. However... Only one of the three Freddie heads is a great likeness, to my eye. I'd say the same about The Rock and Stone Cold figures, a couple of the heads for each are pretty poor. And while the body on Freddie looks great, he's wearing a tank top and jacket, and I am struggling with the way the topless body is sculpted on the wrestlers. It's not as big an issue with Undertaker and Kane. Undertaker, I'm not sure why they went for that era to capture, but it looks alright. With Kane it makes sense, because of the head choices. I'm not sure yet whether I'll get any of the WWE ones.

I couldn't say for sure, but Stone Cold is possibly Ruthless Era. Rock, Triple H, Taker, and Kane all definitely seem to be. Perhaps some sort of licensing thing is restricting them to Ruthless era. I just find it odd that no other era is being covered or hinted at yet. There has to be a reason.

These look horrendous in my opinion. If they are art perhaps they are surrealist works. From certain angles the Undertaker looks passable, particularly the image where he is taking his hat off ... but in general these look like a massive fail in terms of a realistic representation of what their bodies actually look like.

If I'm going to spend $56 on a figure of Undertaker, they've gotta do better than that. I really don't know what a figure I would spend $56 on would look like, but these ain't it. Maybe an Owen Hart figure? Hollywood Hogan? A removable clothing Becky Lynch?

Attachment DeletedWhat I'm really hoping for from S. H. Figuarts and their WWE line is a WWE display base. I got their existing fighting ring stage and its a great backdrop for the figures, but one that is WWE specific would be fantastic. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Rock is probably the best looking one so far. I have the first set and hands down Rock has the realism that no other toy company can produce. The pictures do this figure a huge disservice.

I don't think they are frail at all. I have a few different figuarts and they all seem to hold up nicely. im a figuarts fan, im a higher end collector in general now but as far as the wwe stuff goes ill be picking up pieces here and there def wont be getting everything they put out. I got the Austin which I like a lot. the rock I didn't like at all though. ill prob wind up getting the undertaker and possibly HHH depending on how the final product looks. I have a couple of them and they feel very fragile. Especially in the hips, wrists and shoulder designs. Same thing with MaFex figures. Although MaFex are more fragile than Figuarts. But the drop down hip designs they both use I despise. I absolutely have that design. My biggest issue is that stupid hip joint addition. I think that should have been the first thing Bandai mentioned in the print before opening. Unfortunately my rock broke and I'm losing patience with a follow up response from Bandai for a replacement part.

If Stone Cold is around 6'1" standing next to Lee there should be a 5" difference not 13.
