I'm going to try to make an effort to go to WM next year. I've never been to one, Nola is an acceptable distance, and all of my old school favorites are all but gone. I'm especially hoping Taker goes into the HOF.
Anyone used the travel packages before and have some feedback on them and an estimated cost for two?

Let me chime in here. As a person who never went to wrestlemania prior to this one I felt it was best to get a travel package. Knowing what I know now though, I would rather take my chances doing it individually. But there are so many things to do during wrestlemania weekend that the travel package make it to restricting for example I gave up my Hall of Fame tickets which are in really great seats in order to Rest up. When you buy a travel package they only stick you in a hotel the same day as your first event so I need that first dayto recoup and ended up missing the Hall of Fame. That was no big deal since I was never really that interested in going but I still had tickets that I could not sell. Next time around I'm seriously considering going to the New Orleans event and would just buy an NXT tickets and wrestlemania tickets probably around the silver section the go section with her I had it was close but not the greatest spots.
I apologize for any grammatical errors in this post I'm using a speech to text a way of typing and I'm not sure how well it's coming on the message board
I'll just send it like this the travel package is great for a first timer as it gives you the best chances of getting him what the problem is though you have they tried to overload you with too many events as to the point where you won't be able to do what you want to do or anything outside the WWE universe. If you're willing to risk it my advice would be to just buy regular tickets and hope for the best and they go on sale. Or save your money for stub hub and hope for the best there.

The travel package is definitely the safe bet. You get good tickets to everything. Ive gone to WM before both with and without the package. Like the poster above, I didn't want to go to HOF (went to Evolve instead) so I sold my HOF tickets for $200 each, which helped recoup the total package cost. The close hotel, gaurunteed tickets to Raw and NXT (and now SDL) are excellent ways to make the most of your trip instead of gambling by finding tickets on TM or worse off paying more 3rd party. Obviously the con of the travel package is the price, but what you get for your money is convenience and peace of mind. No waking up early (several times) and crossing your fingers you'll get tickets to any of the shows. Its single purchase.
Also remember to factor in your transportation (flight/taxi/rideshare/rental car/public transit) and food cost, as well as if you plan to get any merch because that 5hit adds up FAST.

I did the travel package last year, but i missed out on getting the package with RAW cause i didn't have enough. Luckily im getting more help this year from my father since im going with him again. We're planning on arriving two days before the events begin, so we could rest a little the first day, and enjoy New Orleans/go to certain events those two days. I was wondering fir anyone who went to Wrestlemania 30 what section had a good view. Cause im going between getting the silver package or the gold package, but was willing to go for platinum if im able to save enough for it.

I did the platinum package this year, thoughts:
Seats for HOF/Takeover/Raw were absolutely spot on, really clear view of everything on camera side. Could just be the Amway centre, but I was really impressed with it as a venue.
Seats for Mania were also very good, I was about 18 rows from the front. Only issue here is that a) they were very cramped, b) you are up and down like a yo-yo all night when everyone stands up, and c) anyone who has a sign in front of you, you just want to punch them in the back of the head.
Axxess was decent for a first time experience but don't bank on meeting many stars, Wrestlecon is 100 times better if that's what you want.
If you have the patience to endure all that for 7 hours plus for Mania then go for it. If I was going to do it again I would do Gold. Same hotel, seats in generally quite similar places and a lot cheaper. Only thing missing is the collectible seat, depends how much you would want one of those.
Plan your budget carefully, I blew an absolute fortune on merch, transport and food. If it wasn't for Uber I would now be bankrupt (I'm from the UK and uber isn't very big here yet).

Honestly, there probably isn't a bad seat in the house unless you're adjacent to the stage. Remember it is completely indoor, so there are no overheard support structures which block the corner sections' view. I had seats across from the stage, near the top of the lower level (this was a non-travel-package trip). I'm sure any travel package will include good seats (except for maybe the really cheap one they added recently, like what $500 tier?). Let me know if you have other questions.

Oh thats awesome to hear about the seating. I was hoping to just get good enough seats where me and my dad are comfortable and im able to get a good enough view to take good pics. Im not necessarily too picky when it comes to seating unless its the nosebleeds

Get the travel package if this is the first time you've done Mania. Takes all the hassle out of things. This was my first Mania, and I was happy with the package.
Having done it though, I think I'd order it all individually next year, as I don't care for the HOF or the second Axxess session.

Travel package is the way to go. It is not significantly more expensive than purchasing tickets individually. Most of the seats dead center of the ring are saved for people purchasing the Packages, so getting those seats via Ticketmaster are very difficult.
I have had issues buying tickets via TM in the past , tickets someone selling out in 10 seconds, only sections available are back of the arena etc. this takes the guess work out. Good thing about the packages are that they are scalper proof. You don't get your tickets til a couple of weeks before the event and at that point you can't switch the hotel rooms to a different name, so it's basically impossible to sell the packages as a whole on the secondary market. In short, it's easier to get TP tickets than normal ones cause you aren't dealing with robots.
I attended 30. The positives are that everything is walkable. No need to rent a car or spend cash on Uber/taxis getting to and from events. NOLA is also cheap for a major city. Food and drink are reasonable prices for what you get. So keep that in mind that you will need less walking around money than you would say, in NYC, when factoring in cost.

I've done the silver package for 28, 30, 32 and 33. Can't complain about anything, the only big issue is the exchange rate (I'm from England), it comes across as quite expensive when converted to pounds. In regards to the package and what you get, it's quality. No hassle of having to get tickets for all the shows etc. I just put myself up in a basic hotel for a few days before and after the package hotel.

What is the sunshine package? It's the package where after you buy it, you look in your bank account and can only see specks of light (thus the "sunshine") because it feels like you got hit in the back of your head with a bowling ball.

My best recommendation, having just done Wrestlemania this year, is to gather as much information as you can on the previous year's Mania, and collect all the info you need on the coming year's as it comes out to make an educated decision on what works best for you. You've seen the breakdown of the package costs, so you can then take that information and price it out individually. There is no doubt that you pay a fee for convenience with the travel package. But, you also get a stress free ticketing experience and get seats that, by and large, are not readily available during the general on-sales, and even pre-sales.
I opted to book everything myself this year, and it worked out extremely well for me, but I had friends who spent a lot of extra money on Raw tickets because they weren't so lucky. It's a gamble. You will always be able to get yourself into the week's events without a travel package, but if you aren't vigilant, it may end up costing you more than you anticipated. I wound up with fantastic seats for Wrestlemania, Raw and Smackdown, all of which would have fallen under WWE's "Gold" package. The only seats I was disappointed with were NXT, but, given my savings, I can't complain. I got lucky on more than one occasion, though, and I'm a seasoned veteran at playing the Ticketmaster game, so I was confident going in. If you're not as comfortable with Ticketmaster, or aren't able to monitor it closely, the travel package may be a safer option.
My friends and I are currently discussing the idea of doing Mania 34 next year, and I think we'll at least give consideration to a travel package this time around, but I couldn't say with any certainty which way I think we'll go if we do indeed end up making the trip.
