The Cass promo was good, but it was the bookend of a bad segment and it's just a bad idea all around.

This is real sad. I hate to say this but man... it's like the hardys coming back and winning the titles at mania screwed this up. Enzo and Cass were red hot and I was sure Mania was their time.

Should have never split them up. They were super over as faces and the Hardys took their spot. They needed to give them the belts either at WM or before WM. I just don't get what the point of this was.

I was so into the end of Raw I spent five minutes of the segment reading and writing replies in the NBA thread.
Underwhelming and way too long for the payoff. I would have swapped it with the Joe/Reigns match and Strowman return. Have the show end with Strowman delivering his line and announcing the ambulance match at the PPV.

Where to begin?
It was obvious they were breaking up and soon as I realized they were getting the Main Event slot.
I didn't like that Corey was the one with the security footage. Angle should have had it. He is the GM and that would have avoided him calling out Show or the Revival.
I don't like the thought of Enzo & Cass breaking up. At all. They were super over and should have been a staple of the tag division for a few more years at least.
Who's left for the Revival, the Club, & The Bar to feud with? Hardy's most likely won't be teaming up much longer and there are no other face teams left really.
Though Cass cut a decent promo tonight, I don't see him doing that well on his own. Without Enzo, Cass is very wooden and kinda boring.
I think Enzo is very entertaining on the mic. But it's obvious Vince doesn't see much in him. Without Cass I fear he'll be teaming with R--Truth and be featured on Superstars every week. Seems like a huge waste.
Besides the length, I thought RAW was fine. But I'm not happy about the Cass/Enzo split.

Cass was definitely shaken up too. At the beginning of his promo his voice kept choking up.
You can tell this legitimately affected them because they were both teary and puffy eyed when they came out.
This is a bad move at the end of the day. Neither Enzo or Cass are a total package on their own. They need each other to hide one another flaws.
WWE F@#$ED real bad by splitting these two up. Its a damn shame they dangled the carrot infront of them their whole time together and never gave them gold when they clearly should have

Also, I can't recall a single time since his return where Kurt hasn't seemed disinterested and/or confused and overwhelmed. He has not been good at all.

so 2 of Raw's feuds are because tag teams are broken up. That's how you know the creative is crap and can't think of anything. Hey lets just break up teams for feuds. unreal.

MAYBE WWE plans on moving American Alpha to RAW now? Because RAW has no face teams left. Besides Rhyno & Slater which doesn't say much. Plus people have wanted to see Angle work with AA.
That could explain why the Ascension were revealed to be the ones who destroyed the Fashion Police Station after being previously ruled out. People were hoping for an AA heel turn but maybe that was changed over the weekend? Just a thought, most likely wrong.

Not a fan of breaking them up. Not a big fan of them to begin with but I feel they deserved a run with the titles. It seems like every time it was imminent, whether main roster or NXT, it just never happened. They both seem like cool guys from podcasts and interviews I've heard them in and they are great friends. So it probably killed them and that was authentic emotion from both of them. Also, Cass needs a revamp in his look. He just looks awkward in trunks. Maybe a leather pants deal but then the Test comparisons will never stop. Gotta change up something

Really dumb move to split Cass and Enzo. I can't see this going much better than when they split Primetime Players. They thought for sure Titus was gonna be a huge star and look what happened there.
I see this playing out mostly the same unfortunately.
Step 1. Cass will split from Enzo, get a win over him in a pointless thrown together feud that lasts about a month
Step 2. Cass will have nothing to do after that because nobody in creative thinks that far ahead and will slowly lose his current favor with the boss after he realizes he's not going anywhere, Enzo will slump into a permanent member of superstars
Step 3. And within a year (with no real reason or explanation) Enzo and Cass will be put back together because nobody knows what to do with them separately, only the crowd won't care anywhere near as much as they did the first time because everyone will see through the pointless booking
Wasn't the biggest fan of their gimmick but they should have at least had a run with the tag titles. Like a couple folks posted above, it seems like the Hardy return really screwed up the potential for an Enzo/Cass title run.

With regards to the Enzo & Cass breakup I think everyone agrees that Enzo is the Janetty. But is Cass the HBK or will there be two Jannettys and no HBKs out of this team split?

I'm still annoyed that the crappy Vaudevillains were given the NXT titles, in Brooklyn - when that should've been Enzo and Cass' hometown celebration. This split should make Enzo a mega babyface. He is where the money is. His name is the one the crowds sing/chant. Enzo just oozes personality and is eminently watchable... whereas Cass is just so bland and a charisma vacuum to boot. That Cass promo was amazing. It really wasn't.

Stupid they break them up. Zo carries the weight of both of them on the mic. I think they both pretty much suck in the ring. This is like breaking up Too Cool. Like wtf is this

IMO, way too early to break them up.

I never liked Enzo and Cass but I actually thought that was pretty well done. By far the best work I've seen them both do. Of course now we have the issue of only having one face tag team, so I guess Hardys vs. Cesaro/Sheamus will continue for another 3 months ...?
