It's totally understandle why wwe did what they had to do imo. Why would such a company want to involve itself in such drama? I think what they did was best which was removing Hogan and keeping him quiet, then maybe negotiate when the time is right. People have to also remember that there were protests and many events occurring during that time as well. If WWE ever brings him back, it will be an act of extreme generosity. His inflammatory racial comments were egregious, but they were hardly his first scandal. In the last 10 years, he made derogatory comments about his victim of his son's car crash, he was involved in a lurid sex tape battle, and he's been a part of a messy, public divorce. Granted, he wasn't the sole cause of all of that, but he's never seemed like someone who is capable of handling his affairs in a drama-free manner. WWE has enough problems with their current talent, so I wouldn't blame them if they wanted to permanently cut ties in an effort to save themselves from the next embarrassing Hogan incident.

They should have left him in the hall. He didn't say this stuff when he was in the WWE's employ. It set a bad precedent. Why erase history? He's a wrestling icon AND a guy who slept with his friend's wife and said some racist stuff. Why pretend neither happened?
Still, I find it hard to like the guy anymore given his politics. Just don't really believe in the Hulkster. They should quietly return him to the hall and sell the merch. Leave it there. No appearances, no ambassadorship, no arcs. Just a relic of the past, wins, warts and all.

I think with the recent "Bring It To The Table" trailer showing Corey Graves and JBL both saying they think he'll be back very soon, we could see Hulkster back on RAW before we know it I want my Elite Hollywood Hogan and Undisputed Hogan figures. Literally the top two figures I have left on my "Must buy if made" list I want 2002 Undisputed Champion Hollywood Hulk Hogan more than nWo Hollywood Hogan to be honest. Gimme 2002 with the tye dye tights, Undisputed title, Hulk still Rules shirt. I'd be so happy. Possible Hogan Elites I'd buy: 1996: early nWo Hogan. Just take the Hall of Fame Elite Hogan and put him in the 1996 Black and White attire 1998: full on nWo Hollywood Hogan with lightning bolts on the tights 2002: Hollywood Hogan, Mania X8 with the boas 2002: nWo street clothes 2002: Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Undisputed Champion with Hulk Still Rules shirt 2003: Mania XIX vs McMahon with the red Hulkamania shirt 2003: Mr America because why the not

I'm surprised it's taken this long. I think it will happen enevtually. Even it's just for merchandising, as they may not put him back on tv right away. As I mentioned before, a segment on the network win JBL or graves would be a good start to see how people warm up to him.

They just put a good Goldberg vs Hogan video on their YouTube page so surely that's a good sign.
