I just wanted to make a thread as a warning about "Amazon Warehouse Deals".
I ordered an elite 50 rhyno because it was $17.39 and a had just signed up again for amazon prime a week before.
Well the rhyno figure came in the mail and the belt was swapped out with the older tag belt.
The item description said "damaged packaging" and I was ok with that since all i wanted was an extra blue tag belt.
But someone at the amazon warehouse swapped the belt out, more than likely to sell on ebay or to keep for themselves.
So if you are considering buying a damaged packaging item on amazon to save a few bucks and the accessory that came with the elite is a belt, do not get it.
I am sorry i don't have any pics because i already sent the item back for replacement.
This is just a warning that even amazon has people who swap out belts just like regular retail stores.

The item has a "amazon warehouse deals" big orange sticker on the bottom of the box. So someone working there is smart and knew what they where doing and probably took a few seconds to swap out the belt.

I doubt it was a worker. It's more likely that a customer ordered it, swapped the belt, and returned it to Amazon claiming damage.
It happened to me with a Katana Suicide Squad figure, I got it NEW from Amazon, not a warehouse deal, and it came missing the Killer Croc BAF piece. I got a refund obviously.

Hey just an update i got a brand new replacement today all good, but i had to paid for the item.
Then i get to wait a few weeks until they process the refund.
I sent out the return with the shipping label they gave me this morning.
As good as amazon is, sometimes they suck just as much as regular retail stores.

Well I am glad your having a laugh at my expense. He's probably laughing at you automatically assuming it was a warehouse employee. Same reason the rest of us are laughing as well. Good to hear you got a replacement.

Good to hear you got a replacement. Well i can't say 100% for sure it was an amazon employee but its my best guess. It could have been a regular customer who bought it, swapped the belt out, and sent it back. However it had an easily seen rip in the packaging on the right side to get the belt out. So whoever did it was not very sneaky or good about it. Also if I have to wait 2 weeks to get a refund, then the regular non amazon employee had to wait the same amount of time to get his refund. So if amazon really inspected it like the orange sticker on the bottom says they did. Would they not see the belt was swapped/different ? The stock image on the product listing clearing shows the blue belt. You would think amazon would have caught that, maybe not. Is it not a crime to send something back to amazon when you stole something in original packaging ?? Either way the message remains they same, stay away from amazon warehouse deals.

It wasn't an Amazon employee because they aren't going to have an old tag belt just hanging out in their pocket. Plus it had A belt in it, which means most employees will see that there is A belt and consider it good because they don't know anything about wrestling
Wrestling is a niche market. Not everyone knows Rhyno should have a blue and silver belt instead of a black and bronze one

These aren't high school kids making minimum wage in the stock room at TRU. I highly doubt someone would risk their employment over a toy belt. The majority of my collection has come from Warehouse deals and I've never had any issues. And Amazon is pretty good about returns should an issue come up.

Use to work at one of the Amazon wharehouses and can say that an employee wouldn't have time to open a package and swap out a figure. That orange sticker on the box just means that the return item has been "inspected" and is sellable. Saw it on almost everything. You barely have enough time to take a piss let alone swap stuff. There are cameras all around and you are working close to people, like three feet from them. I will add that when I wored at Amazon during the holiday season I did pack a butt load of sex toys. 😳
