I am sure this has been discussed, but I know somebody can give me the answer.

I don't recall them ever saying that they wouldn't make him.

I never heard him say anything one way or another about making an Iraqi Sarge.

its never been shot down....but i dont see any reason for it to be made when there are DOZENS of other characters & gimmicks that haven't been done, and we got 2 Elite and 1 Basic Slaughters that cover him quite nicely from Mattel

I kind of feel that WWE will not let them now. They never mention him as a bad guy on tv, very seldom do they even show clips of him as a heel. They just refer to him a patriot and former WWE champion.

It's got to be hard for Mattel. They prolly want to do obscure 80s guys, but they already know that sales are terrible at mass retail.

Just look at all the John Cena figures that clog up practically every series when there really are DOZENS of other characters & gimmicks could be put in his place. Yes, I know Cena will always sell but why not give new characters the spot now & then? I don't see the reason he has to be made over & over when he's already been covered nicely by Mattel also, how many of this guy does one person need? We're not gonna forget him & it will not break the bank if he isn't in every series.

Never forget that these figures, particularly the basics, are toys made for children and normal retail products by a mass market toy company. Go to a house show with an advertised Cena match versus one in the same venue without. Cena figures help keep the line growing. Don't like 'em? Don't buy 'em. I don't own a single Cena. But they're important.

Took 5 years to get a camo Sarge. Wouldn't hold my breath.

I think they could easily make Col Mustafa in ring gear at least as a basic. Wouldn't be that hard to do. I think I am fine with the Slaughter's we got and have too many other wants. Don't see myself buying another Slaughter. A BP with Mustafa and Gen Adnan would be pretty cool.

The Hall of Fame Slaughter isn't that far off from what he normally wore during the Iraqi sympathizer phase. It would be cool to get the curly boots and keffiyeh, but I don't care as much about the khakis and beret, and I'm fine with this one to represent all of the early 90s.
If we got another Sarge, I'd much rather his AWA/GI Joe gear. It would have to be without the logo of course, but plain stripes on the legs would be just fine.

I remember seeing that CS 2 pack for a looong time(worse than The Bushwhackers) at Toys R Us wayback when, 1-3 pegs full at every store. I do want one with the pointy boots though RR91 or WM7, I can't remember.

HOF 2 pack would be sweet ... if they're still around.

I kind of feel that WWE will not let them now. They never mention him as a bad guy on tv, very seldom do they even show clips of him as a heel. They just refer to him a patriot and former WWE champion. 1. They've shown it tons of times on DVD. They just have no reason to on TV 2. The storyline was pretty tasteless tbh 3. WM7 arena switch and bad ticket sales 4. If you got Sgt. Slaughter booked for TV, which gimmick would you give him? American patriot or an anti-American turncoat who pledged allegiance to a guy we killed 13 years ago?
