Obviously they instantly lose out because they do not have the nostalgia factor, but yes they fit in well with the classic Hasbro's. Oddly enough it is the repeat Warrior attire that is the most visually jarring to me. I am also glad that series two of the retros has a distinctly attitude era vibe to them with Austin, Rock etc. I just hope that we get a new ring and more accessories and play/display sets.

I'm a big fan of the new Retro's. I completely agree that the nostalgia is not at the same level but Mattel have given us something to remind us all of collecting such figures.
I would have to agree that the Warrior figure, for me, isn't quite at the same level of say, a Series 2 Warrior of the Hasbro line, however, it is in keeping with this new Retro collection. The Rocks legs are too short as well!
I'm really looking forward to displaying the Retro's, although the card and bubble isn't of the same quality as the Hasbro's, which is probably the biggest downside for me. Can't wait for Series 3, though, and fingers crossed for a ring and other surprises!

Yeah, they fit in pretty good with Hasbros loose or MOC. Like everyone else said, they're not on the same level as Hasbros, but still a nice continuation of the line that I always dreamed of having. So I'm super excited they're a reality. Just hope they deliver some of the Hasbro era guys I really want.

How about a series 3 that had one or two Tetons of the sport that never made the hasbro like a big daddy may be Planck and white card!! Or a tagteam heart foundation agin not in the hasbro a Am fine with card and bubble I like the look and the fact there not in every shop adds a spice to the line for me

Tag Teams would be the best, but don't think we'll ever see them. Those were my favorites from the original Hasbro run. More would be great and I wish there were enough demand for Zoloworld to produce a case for 2 packs.

I have had a couple of these arrive not in top shape despite being fresh from the case. One of the bubbles was even coming away significantly from the card and there was no evidence of tearing on the card, which points the finger at the glue used by Mattel, I believe. The backing cards seemed to have been made to temporarily hold the figure, unlike the Hasbro's that can be stored for decades and still look great. The colours and artwork of the card, I guess, reflect the current times. Back in the Hasbro era, it was the early 90s and everything was colourful and fun, just look at the awesome attires the wrestlers wore! Either way, I'm grateful to Mattel for listening to us collectors and releasing such a line! I can't wait to see who and what comes next!

I'm happy to go along with a few current guys thrown in there, but I'm all about the Hasbro era guys. Fingers crossed we get some/ most of the names we want!

I guess a lot depends on how the line sells. 4 or 5 Series down the line they may see there's a market for it and decide to up their game to keep us interested in the line.

I think I'll be looking at a lose collection of these, as well, especially if they release a ring! We already had Jake's snake, Million Dollar Man's belt, Brutus' shears, Hacksaws 2 x 4, Bossmans nightstick, Honky Tonks guitar, and Macho Kings crown and sceptor by this time with the Hasbro's! Not to mention Demolitions helmets! I really hope they have accessories, too, but you feel they'll have to start in Series 3 or 4 at the latest with these. I'm not very optimistic regarding tag teams, however. They would be brilliant, especially a Hart Foundation or Powers of Pain!

Just like the zolo world because they lock tighter and plastic seems to be clearer/cleaner.

That would have made his figure release so much better!

Sting should have come with a bat. The figure looks great and it can't wait to get it, but the bat would have put it over the top.
