I arrived at the signing which was at an Indigo Book Store around 11:45 AM, I purchased Chris Jericho's new book since in order to meet him you had to buy it. I received a ticket with a group number on it since Jericho was only signing for the 1st 100 people who purchased the book and after that it was highly unlikely you could meet him since his time was limited. After asking the cashier a few questions about the signing i left and to kill time since they didn't start lining people up until 5 pm i hung around the area and ran some errands. When i was going to my car to pick up a few things i ran into ARUN outside the store, great catching up with you! Then we went inside and found our sections and waited for about an hour and half until the signing started. Chris Jericho arrived at the store at about 6:30 but the signing didn't start until 7:10 and the line moved quickly. I overheard a staff member saying that would only sign the books on a certain page which thought was kinda weird. When it was my turn to meet him i asked a staff member to confirm which page Jericho wanted to sign and gave her the book and the 8x10 Promo i wanted signed. I walked up to Jericho, shook his hand, talked to him for a minute, got my picture taken and left. When i was leaving the line a spotted TheChamp617 and we talked for a few minutes, nice seeing you! Overall this was one of the smoothest run signing i've been to, no hassle whatsoever. Here are the Autographs of Jericho, look at them maaaaannnnnnn.

I realize that wrestlers are on a time schedule. But lately I've seen posts of people meeting wrestlers for a signature, only to end up getting 2 letters as an autograph. (Brodus Clay, Xavier Woods, Sasha Banks, etc.)
If a fan pays for an autograph, you would think the least the person could do was make it legible.
Maybe I'm looking too much into this. I don't know. I'm going to go argue with a cloud now.

Had a mate who met Ambrose back when he was Jon Moxley, he got his CZW dvd signed and he literally just wrote "MoX" on it, plain letters and said "Sorry, I'm too drunk to remember if I have an autograph." and walked away. Legend.

Ink them in maaaan!
Can't wait to finally meet Chris in November, seeing all these stories of people meeting is getting me super excited, and nervous for it. I really want to make a good impression as I've dreamed of meeting him for many years. I've been front and centre at Fozzy a few times but have never actually properly met him in person. He's retweeted and replied to me a lot on Twitter and seems to like me based on those interactions over the years so hopefully it goes really well. I plan on breaking the ice with "Hey Chris, my name's Chris too."

I've met Chris on several occasions going back as far as 96, and he has always been super nice. I only had one bad experience but I don't think it was his fault. I had request him to sign something as The Lion Heart or to at least leave off the Y2J from his signature as the picture I wanted signed was fro WCW. So it says Y2J.

It's Awesome that you enjoyed yourself.
Personally I wouldnt have waited that long. Nothing against Jericho. I just think there is a celebrity that would have me waiting for hours.
Also I was left thinking to myself, first 100? Did more than 100 people actually buy the book? I would think 100 is a very high number/expectation for a pro wrestler's book sales in one store on one day.
To me the best part of the story is that you found an actual book store! As a young person I loved my Walden books, borders, B&N, and so on. They seemed to be in every mall. Now though they are few and far in between.
Last, as a side note, I was in line to meet a celebrity once. At Six Flags, this spanish actor did a show there. Huicho Dominguez. He did his show and announced that a picture would cost 10 dollars. I saw no one was in line so I got up. I was standing there waiting, first in line, when I noticed Six Flags staff talking to Huicho's people. They then announced the pictures would be free! The line grew to be very long, and I was at the front. It had me laughing because, I guess, Huicho wanted 10 bucks but someone from Six Flags prob shut that idea down so he did it for free.

Jericho is the only guy from WWE I've met before and he was really cool. Nice that you met him and hope the book is good!

Awesome man! I've been privileged to meet him 3 times, very cool dude. My 2nd favorite wrestler, Austin would be the 1st. I posted here the 2nd and 3rd time I met him in these threads: linklink

Thank you so much for not acting like some iCarly wannabe and putting up a shaky video of you telling the story! Fun little read.
Did you ever find out the deal with the certain page number?

I have met Chris Jericho three times. All three times, he was super chill and genuine. I am glad I got my Vengeance 2001 DVD signed by him during one of those signings.
I don't think I have had a bad experience meeting any professional wrestlers/personalities. At least I got to meet Y2J and Brother Love.

Your welcome... I would assume he only wanted to sign that page because it's the only blank page in the book.

I'm thinking about it That cruise is going to be a big sausage fest. True, it'll probably be a giant frat party at sea. I can careless about it being a hotdog cart because I am engaged, so that ship has sailed (pun intended).
