So, basically, no change needed for Roman.

Awesome looking figures. That Asuka looks even more unnerving and chilling than the old Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark illustrations by Stephen Gammell for those who remember them.
Overall though, looks like I'll be pushing these aside as I probably get disappointed looking for more new Retro figures in the coming months lol....

They basically killed basics and cut and move articulation, but AT LEAST these freaking things have bicep swivel and ankle pivot right? even that "asuka" got the thigh swivel. I don't get it.. I really don't. they say basics cant stay the way they were because it will make them steeper and no one will buy them over 11$? people already threat to stop buying because of lost articulation. price stopped being the issue. as passionate collectors we want the figures to be top notch, even if it means to add a couple of bucks. you may say kids dont care, but a lot of them do. I remember myself being 5 and hating toys with less "locations of movement".
If Elites are the best selling line, the main line, the largest group of buyers go for these, why invest so much in tooling modeling and producing these bizzare lines that most people dont care about and most likely end up shelfwarming every store only to be clearanced for 3$? seriously

Alright then, These lines don't bother me since I don't buy them and they kind of remind me of the WCW toy biz days. My issue with these lines is when they take money out of the elite or hasbro line to deliver one series of some weird monster mash franchise then never go back to them again as they rot on the shelves. Oh well. But they don't, it is a line unto itself, and it's obviously selling decent if we are up to Series 4

I'm probably in the minority but I enjoy these lines.

I don't care for these things, but what does bother me is that Reigns is finally given a lighter skintone yet his elites are all the wrong skintone.

I was expecting someone to bring up the Elite budget and wasn’t surprised lmao. On topic, I’ve never been a fan of gimmick lines such as this even as a kid but they’ve already got a Zombies and Mutants line so is a Monsters really necessary?

They are essentially the same line, zombies was Series 1, mutants series 2, zombies series 3, and monsters is Series 4

Oh well. ...again? Really? *sigh* Seperate lines have seperate budgets. The money doesnt come from the elite line. And if they cancel this, the money doesnt go into the elite line. For the elite budget to go up, it would mean a price increase. They wont add expense without adding profit. To summarize...this aint got to do with the elites. Please people, please get this.

Jericho actually looks pretty cool, design-wise.
Braun and Jake would make cool Ghostbusters villains.
Taker is lame AF.

If anything Mattel has learned from past mistakes, with wwe being one of the top licenses the creators are challenged to come up with new toy lines to take advantage of the wwe name, in the past we have seen a lot of junk....if they weren't wwe lines they would just be some other toy line, not more basics or elites, would be some other license. They are now just trying to do something similar to what works, The elites and basics work, so we get tough talkers, and the creature lines, and the girls dolls and figures, the new play sets. But, these have absolutely zero to do with the budget for basics and elites.
