I find it funny that everyone from Philly is "hearing it is a lock" for Mania. I've searched high and low, and the only city being reported a frontrunner is Detroit. All of their major news picked it up as a big story and what not.

Los Angeles confirmed to host 2018 survivor series so I think it's safe to say mania 35 won't be in California. Very curious which city gets 35. Still hoping we get it in Toronto!

Is there a stadium in Louisville KY that can host a future WM? I would say that they could induct Jim Cornette in the hall of fame that weekend, but I think he and the midnights will be in the 2018 hall of fame.

All of their major news picked it up as a big story and what not. There was a report that Detroit only placed a bid to host WrestleMania XXXIII and XXXIV.

Isn't Minnesota in the running? Great question. It seemed like they were convinced they were getting one last year, but it fell apart.

Not surprised LA got Survivor Series next year since WWE's strategy for the big 4 is to put them in major metropolitan citys.

I can see Detroit or Minny getting The Rumble in 2019 as a consolation prize for bidding on Mania these last few years.
WM 35 is down to Philly/NY. December was rumored to be the reveal but I gotta think January is more likely as both have big events happening during that month.

Been a few years since mania was held on the east coast. I was at mania 29 in New Jersey. It was fun. Just a bit cold though. Since met life stadium is open.

I would agree with NY if they weren't already getting SSlam again in 2018. That was a big reason why they didn't get 34.
Philly's been in the running for a good 4 or 5 years now and would've won the bid last year if NOLA didn't have an anniversary going on in 2018. 2019 could finally be the year it returns to Philly on it's 20th anniversary.

I forgot about summerslam being in Brooklyn. Detroit or Philly seems pretty likely then. I wonder if it could be somewhere nobody expects. If I remember correctly, New Orleans came out of nowhere for 34. I don't remember reading anything about them hosting it. Have to wait and see I Guess.

From what I've read Detroit it putting their focus on bids for 36 and beyond. No doubt in my mind they will get it in the next 5 years.
All the major sources have stated it's definitely east coast for 35. We'll find out shortly...

It would drive me nuts if Detroit was the frontrunner in getting 35 and the only reason we dont get it is because we want to bid for 36 and beyond. Still hopeful though.

Remember when it started to drizzle during the Miz vs Barrett match? Thank God that didn't last. I didn't mind the cold.

Toronto to Jersey is only about an 8-9 hour drive, so it wasn't too bad.
