That sucks for McIntyre about the injury and losing the belt. I thought his title reign would've lasted longer than it did. I like Almas as well just didn't see him winning the belt tonight.
Black/Dream was MOTN! This was the one match I wanted to see and I wasn't let down.
I really wanted Nikki Cross to win the Women's Championship.
And the War Games match wasn't traditional but I liked it. It was entertaining Dain's Coast to Coast and Alexander Wolfe cutting himself open was probably the best spots. Even though Wolfe's was accidental.... I still think Strong will turn and join The Undisputed Era. And I think we'll be seeing The A.O.P. on Raw soon.

As I said last night, I love McIntyre, but he's so much bigger than everyone else in NXT. He's a horse in a dog race. Especially if you compare him to Adam Cole. So even though I hate having him lose so soon, I believe he can move up to RAW or SD and revamp himself there. He never really needed NXT. Have him go to RAW or SD and challenge the mid-card champion. Win the title. And give him a lengthy run so he can rebuild himself back to where he belongs.

So I don't watch NXT, but I was interested in the return of WAR GAMES so I turned it on this morning and while I liked the PPV intro I fast forwarded to the WAR GAMES match and right off the bat I am disappointed. I am not feeling the three teams of three. That just seems odd to me, but I was still willing to give it a chance. But when the lowered the structure there was no roof! WtF!!! It supposed to be two rings in an enclosed structure. Before the match even starts it is already losing the whole War Games feel! It's supposed to have a an uneasy, unrelenting and vicious intimidating feel to it. But just looking at the structure without the roof means I already know there will be some sort of interference before the times elapse or someone will escape the double teams by climbing the cage. So that whole concept and feel of the War Games is already gone. I don't even know if I will continue past this opening 5 minutes because the initial disappointment is so great. Then you will be missing out on one of the greatest matches I have ever seen! I liked the fact that there wasn't a roof on the cage. It gave it a new look, and plus moves could be done off the cage. I didn't have a problem with it and I grew up watching all the War Games matches.

Plus, that match was way better than every War Games after 1992 (WrestleWar 92 is still the GOAT War Games).

McIntyre losing the title tells me heβs getting called up. I think heβll show up at the Rumble. I guess there is the off chance he was injured going into the match and needs time but heβs felt like a guy who was more needed on Raw or Smackdown since the day he showed up in NXT. Almas isnβt a top guy. Heβll lose the title at the next legitimate opportunity. He's a top guy, how rude.

Love Dream and Black.
Would be very very cool if someday down the line, they have a tag team run together.
Their characters compliment each other perfectly, would be a shame if they donβt work together again after this feud.

He's a top guy, how rude. Heβs lucky Zelina Vega came along to save his career... Him losing was a part of a storyline. Nothing to do with them not having anything to do for him. Just like Gargano's recent losing streak over the past few months is all a part of a story. He's top teir in the ring, has a great look, has personality, he's Del Rio but better

Almas is a decent hand, but he has no business being the centerfold of that brand unless heβs a transitional champ.
Aleister makes the most sense to be next in line.

Im sorry but if you're gonna let a lack of a room not enjoy the match, then you're missing out. I was also disappointed when i found out there wasn't a roof on top, but i said you know what, im gonna keep an open mind and see for myself how the match goes. Im so glad i did that cause i enjoyed the hell outta that match. I enjoyed Dream vs Black a little more, but WarGames 2017 was great. Plus the roof would have ruined a lot of spots that happened, unless they would have went with the HIAC height cage. Plus i like they added the rule of escape the cage, you surrender for your team, so the lack of roof is justified, and its a tiny bit of a throwback to the original WarGames, which the match ended with surrendering

He's a top guy, how rude. Heβs lucky Zelina Vega came along to save his career... Ive liked Andrade Almas since he started in CMLL, even more when he formed Los Ingobernables with Rush and La Mascara. I do agree that pairing Zelina with Almas saved his career. To me, he looks like if there were a TV Title in NXT, he'd be perfect for that title scene. Im happy for him, but i agree that he doesn't feel like a top guy, even for NXT standards

With it it made the match more menacing because there was no place to go to get away from your opponents. How awesome was it back in the day when Sid was pressing Pillman into to roof of the cage using it as a weapon? If these guys need to come off the cage to put on an exciting/entertaining match then just make a cage match. Don't call it War Games and then change the concept. You're being an old fart. You're missing out. I am 50 years old. I am an old fart who is set in my ways. Im sorry but if you're gonna let a lack of a room not enjoy the match, then you're missing out. Even though there's two rings it supposed to be a close quarters brawl that tells a story. I turned on to see that not a bunch of cage match spots. That's not the concept of War Games which is what they said we were getting. And that isn't what we got.

I knew going in that it wasnt going to be the WarGames of the past, so that helped me enjoy the match more. It is what it is

You're missing out. I am 50 years old. I am an old fart who is set in my ways. This. People have been clamoring for the return of War Games for years and yet WWE completely botched the return. It's not changing the rules or not having a roof that I take an issue with more than the fact that basically piggybacked on the "history" of the match with their bastardized concept. I'd much rather WWE had just named the match something different instead of promoting the match was the return of War Games because it wasn't the return of War Games outside of the name. It's like WWE wanted to be like some of the Indy shows that advertise War Games and then it's just a two ring cage match. It's not the same. TNA had their own little version with Lethal Lockdown and WWE could've had their own to. I don't need someone jumping off a cage to make a good match [and this was a good match] and that goes against the entire idea behind War Games but what do I know? Guess I'm just an old fart at 25 years old, lol. Can't even get the senior discount at IHOP yet.

I'm also a slightly lesser old fart, but I enjoyed the match. Thoroughly. I also really liked the metal floor they had between the rings. I wasn't crazy about the shark cages at first. But it did help move the match along at a quicker pace, so it grew on me. All in all, I loved it and hope sticks around. But no more than once a year.

First NXT show that I've seen for a while - I really enjoyed it. I don't mind the changes to WarGames, it was a really good match. But MOTN was definitely Black vs Dream, fantastic.

Very Shocked that Almas won the title from Mcintyre. Should have had Peyton Royce or Nikki Cross win the NXT Womens Title, considering the pop Peyton Royce got. War Games had some pretty cool spots. Now I have to go see what all the hype is about the Black vs Dream match
