I think I would give the refund to keep my rating good but it does suck when you know you did nothing wrong. I'm a MOC collector and I always ask before I bid over $20 for any WWE figure to make sure its in good shape. ...it sounds like you are suffering from a rare case of common sense there, my friend... Don’t listen to people who are saying don’t do the return. If it’s eBay, hey will refund his money and he will keep the figure as well. They are ruthless against the seller these days. Tell the dude to ship it back if he is not happy and just give him the money back. After dealing with a bunch of figure collectors on there, I wouldn’t doubt that he’s just be a diva and is trying to get some of the money back and keep the figure. So does ebay refund the money if i dont do the return or do they take it from me and refund it to him? ...they'll "hold" (ie. take) it from your PayPal account, if it goes to a claim. And they'll 100% find in favor of the buyer - so you may as well accept the return and refund him, before it gets to that (...he'd probably leave negative feedback too)

Better to sell loose and not risk dealing with this. Let him open a case if he wants and explain your side.

I would just like to share my opinion , Greg Valentine being signed to a legends contract for 7 years without a figure is not right.
There ya go.

If you never claimed it was in mint pristine condition, I'd tell him tough t*tties. And if he was that worried about the packaging, he should have asked you before bidding. But for future listings, just say the packaging has "shelf wear". That way, you're covered. THIS!!!!. Thank you!! But im concerned about the website i went through coming after me? Like if he opens a claim or something Ya I agree, if you didnt say mint on a mint card then you dont have to worry about anything. No one will come after you and he did open a claim just show the description

"'Tough titty' said the kitty". Bad luck for the dude, I'd say.

That guy is complaining about that? Considering how bad some elites look at retail, that AJ Styles is in phenomenal shape. Buyer is just trying to pull a fast one here.

Updated this post with some relief but not very good news
UPDATE: So as many of you suspected ebay found in favor of the buyer and the case has been closed. Now my only complaint to ebay is how do i replace my merchandise?! I've been emailing back n forth with what seems like a robot so it's hard for them to understand my concerns. I wish i never would have sold my figure to begin with now.

When you sell MIB action figures of any kind on eBay you have to take pics of and fully describe any faults in the packaging, that’s just common sense. As you’re now learning some collectors are extremely fussy and just saying it’s MIB isn’t good enough. I’ve sold action figures on eBay and if the card has a tiny mark or slightly dinged corner, I take close-up pics and also mention any slight problems in the description and I’ve never had a problem. Also as a buyer I stay away from sellers like you who simply say MIB without any details and I’ve never had a problem buying either. It’s all just common sense, maybe selling on eBay isn’t for you.

If so, that's a bit strange... in my experience, they usually wait until the item has been returned. Whenever I've had to have something returned, I buy one of eBay's pre-paid return labels (which they let the buyer have) - it's usually much cheaper than normal shipping and (a big plus) eBay track it automatically, so they know when the buyer has returned the item. In your case, the buyer should be returning the item... if you haven't received it after about a week, contact customer support.
