Now that he's done with TNA, do you think he'll return to WWE for one final run?
At the very least I'd like to see em ref one more main event at a Mania.

Nope. He and his brother burned that bridge by selling merch they stole.

Well Tim White is a crafty veteran who went through hell for WWE by refereeing those dreaded Hell in a Cell matches. He was so scarred that he would have PTSD that even lead him to kill fellow employee Josh Matthews (Rest in Peace) with a shotgun. He needs a second lease on life and WWE owes him

LOL no. Earl is just a referee. His job is to be invisible. He lucked out that he was the senior ref in the WWE at the time. He milked the whole screwjob thing for all it's worth. There is not one person who pays to see just a referee.

The ONLY way I would want to see it is he's going to push around Triple H again. I always thought that was funny.

We'll see him again when he's the first ref inducted into the HOF.

Id like to see him ref important PPV matches. Other than that, i have no interest in seeing Earl have one more run in WWE

Nope. He and his brother burned that bridge by selling merch they stole. Was it stolen or unlicensed? I remember the kiosk they had at a mall here in Richmond and even chatted with Dave once, but I never really looked at what they were selling. He even wore the referee getup while he was there.

He should absolutely be brought back. I love Hebner. He's part of most of WWE's greatest matches.

Earl Hebner is the greatest referee in the history of the WWF. If there were ever a referee wing in the HOF, Earl would head it up.

It would be nice if he got inducted to the HOF in 2018. 30 year anniversary of him debuting in WWF.

I think the story I remember hearing is they had unlicensed t-shirts printed that they would give to people in the back as gifts. Everyone thought it was nice and not hurting anyone, so no one gave them trouble over it. Then I think maybe the Hebners felt that if no one was complaining it was ok to start selling them. That’s when it became and issue. I’m probably foggy on the exact details.

I thought he and his brother were in the concussion lawsuit? Doesn't that make them persona non grata?

They both used theirs to sell their stuff, and use that money to sell more. It wasn't like some million dollar crime ring, but they made pretty decent money off of it.

anyone who says it would never happen?.....remind you that Vince and Ultimate Warrior made up.
Strange things can happen in wrestling. However Earl Hebner isn't going to be selling any DVDs or t-shirts for the company so there's really no reason for him to come back.
