Bill doesn’t work on these he’s on the Elite line now Thought he Just took over the Elites recently. I’m sure he had a hand in these first 2 or 3 sets Only Series 2.

I do wish they didn't do that lame, inaccurate thing all Hasbro customizers do and ALWAYS give them the name of their finisher as their action move.
Amost none of the original Hasbros were like that. Make it things like Kevin Owens with "Prizefighter PUNCH!" and Chris Jericho with "Rockstar RAGE!"

I never minded the jumpers as a kid. Always thought the stompers were the worst action

I came here to correct you. After many years of never owning the figure, I finally bought one as part of a lot. I was disappointed when his wind up uppercut action didn't work. Turns out, I was mistaken this whole time! Yeah, i think the point of his action is for him to have one of his arms raised, pull back on his upper torso and release to simulate his bionic elbow. I think they show that action in one of the WWF Hasbro commercials.

I love this line but hate the amount of jumpers in every series.

if Mattel does anymore of these they should maybe create some new actions or something and maybe even use the Rick Rude/Flair type that everybody hates as opposed to so many jumpers.

They should stick to the moulds Hasbro used. And split the moves more evenly

Are these scaled taller than the hasbros? I have a few hasbros but wasn't sure as far as mattel scaling goes.

The people in charge of this line have no idea what made Hasbro figurrs special or what attracts us to them. They're just doing a quick cash in. Any child thst grew up with these would be able to explain how much we hated the jumpers and they were few and far between on top of that. Bill works on these and has a full set of Hasbro. He was/is a collector just like we are I am sorry but the line clearly doesn't reflect that. and I have never heard a confirmation that Bill has anything to do with or is in charge with the retro line. I thought he focused on the main elite lines and this was another team. Regardless- I think Bill is wonderful and the job he has done in the past decade has been out of the park. But out of respect for his work and the WWE mattel line- I am going to call it honestly if I see something I think is wrong, off the mark, or in my opinion a misstep. If Bill was a Hasbro collector as a child like the rest of us and in charge of the RETRO series- then he's trolling us.

Prior to that, Bill says he was in the background during production of Series 1. He was the designer for Series 2 and was only responsible for those six Attitude Era-themed figures. He has nothing to do with the upcoming Retro Ring or any of the Retro App figure waves, including Series 3.

Probably because Sting had the Stinger Splash. Goldberg had the Spear. But my theory is Sting, Triple H and Rollins were all given the jumping action, because everyone knew they were the three names I would buy no matter what and they also knew I hated the jumping feature. I lol’d 🤣

Yeah, need more body styles. I didn't mind the Rude body as much as others seem to. Worked nice for kid at least I thought, and would make a good Mysterio. Not so much for Flair. And the Perfect mold was always a nice figure. That would have worked for Goldberg to have the Jackhammer.

Thought, I think the Hogan #3 mold would fit Goldberg better, performed the same move as Perfects mold but had a more muscular build. I never liked the Rude/Flair/123 Kid mold (my least favorite mold, even over the jumpers, from the hasbro line), it was hard to do move with that one. Also, it didn't make sense for Rude or Flair, kind-of for 123 kid but still not a great mold. Wish they would use Brutus #2 (my favorite mold from the Hasbro line), Virgil, Jake Roberts, Bret Hart, and Yokozuna (for the heavy set guys) molds.
