And absolutely nothing of value was lost. As long as the woman's battle royal at the PPV is good, big deal.

Hmm. Would Harvey Weinstein ever have gotten seen for who he truly is for what he did if not for the multitude of accusations that came his way? When there are plenty of trustable accusations against someone who did such a terrible thing, the best thing to do would to stay away from honoring that person. WWE screwed up in naming their Battle Royal after her and have changed it. Done deal. Harvey is alive and well and can defend himself, that is relevant stuff. What Moolah did decades ago allergy is not, especially considering how many promoters took advantage of their performers sexually allegedly in that era. If you think Moolah is alone, I have to laugh. Signaling her out alone is absurd. Moolah was a brilliant ring psychologist and the single most dominating figure in women's wrestling. People saying she sucked in the ring but enjoyed Piper's matches have rose tinted glasses. WWE chose Moolah because she stands atop all women's wrestlers in terms of longevity, dominance, and showmanship. Sherri and all of the others came and went and Moolah was still Moolah. You can suppress history, but you can't rewrite it. We have Disney removing the prostitutes from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and now this. Such a shame to see weak minded liberals trying to bury history, all to live in a bubble. At least no ones feelings will be bury tonight, Lord knows that's all people care about these days. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, if you didn't like something... tough. Nobody cares. Never voted Liberal and never will and I completely agree with the removal of Moolah's name. Then again if you were a "good Christian Conservative" you would be ok with it as well.

Fabulous Moolah was a sex trafficker.
Read that sentence over and over again until it sinks in that she shouldn't be honoured in any way shape or form.

She used her power to stifle women’s wrestling for years and did things that should not be celebrated. Typically I would separate the actions of someone in life and their in ring actions, but this is similar to Benoit in that these were physical actions that harmed multiple people and that discredits their name from being recognized in my opinion. Also nice going calling people “weak minded liberals.” Fast lane to getting a thread locked.

Is there a verdict out there? Admittance of guilt? Without those, Moolah is as innocent as anybody else of this crap.

I feel like they were already trying to distance themselves from Moolah when they named the tournament after Mae Young. Mae was Moolah's side kick for like ever, so in all these stories is she complicit or just another victim? Could have named this stuff after Sherri, Madusa, Trish, Lita, whoever and avoided all this heat.

Here’s another woman they can name it after. One without plenty of allegations of sexual misconduct that is very honorable.

Don’t have to be related to someone to understand how the judicial system works. Again, this new “guilty until proven innocent” America strikes again...

Remember folks, if there's no proof YOU actually did it and YOU didnt face any legal judgement and you dont admit any guilt of doing it...You clearly didnt do it. In that theory, that Hitler guy wasnt so bad after all

To be honest, as long as the debate keeps as a civil debate and nobody is accused of being a supporter of “rape” or “sex trafficking”, there’s no reason to lock/delete anything.

They have no idea who Moolah is and obviously none of you do either. Once again we attack someone who is dead and can’t defend themselves. Kudos kids. Kudos Awwww another guy on here who supports Sex trafficking! lovely. You, like every all the other internet trolls, know jack crap about what went on. Y’all assume based on rumors. I don’t support sex trafficking, I support people who aren’t idiot sheep that follow the herd

I know this isn't a thread about it, but since its mentioned, why am I rubbed the wrong way when I see something being reported by Ryan Satin? In the last year I see his name all over as if its the gold standard and I don't know who this is and/or if I should trust it. Someone fill me in here. He's a douche and he's usually wrong. Ryan Satin is to Dave Meltzer as Ryan Seacrest is to Dick Clark.

Call it the Luna Vachon memorial battle royal.
If Chyna didn’t have her porn career, cause that’s a crime 🙄, naming the battle royal after her would have been perfect, with Andre being the 8th Wonder and Chyna being the 9th Wonder of the world.

Genuinely baffled at how many here are defending a sex traficer. Can you pinpoint where someone has defended Moolah, or any sex trafficking? Most are mentioning how it’s just not a big deal that it was named after Moolah. That's like saying "Sure I went to a KKK fundraising bake sale and bought a German chocolate cake but I don't support them..."

And as usual, people won’t know how to have a civil conversation and the thread will be locked. Just another day on Wfigs forums.
