I’m primarily a loose collector but on occasion I’ll keep something in the box; sometimes it’s because the packaging, sometimes I just just want an extra of the figure itself. But most of the time packaging isn’t important to me. If it would save costs, I would be fine if everything was carded like basics. The Amazon Exclusive Mankind was carded like a basic.
But in a situation as an online exclusive, and not wanting to completely do away with the packaging as to not alienate MOC collectors. One option would be the basic packaging like the Amazon Mankind mentioned above, another option could be packaging similar to some of the exclusive WWE Jakks figures. I think these figures were from a competitor websites at the time, so as to not upset Ringside I won’t mention the website name, but I think the figures may have been called Main Event. They were in smaller style boxes than what the figures were sold at retail but it was more than a plain white box. Each box was graphic with different colors, logos, etc, and the boxes had a plastic window on the front to view the figure. Think Elite or Star Wars Black Series Figure boxes just smaller.

The condition of the package is very important to me. I have been finding the basic sets where the packaging completely destroyed. This is completely ridiculous. The store should want their product to look in good condition when it is being sold.
