They've cut his intro, they've shortened his theme and now all he does is smile. Seriously in NXT Balor was so special and he had a mystic about him but now he's just a generic guy with a smiling gimmick.
Also the WWE and Mattel are constantly using the Demon stuff as a marketing tool and he hasn't even wore paint in nearly a year.

You covered everything that's been going on with Balor. I'm not sure what else we can add.

Yeah, they're doing absolutely nothing to support him.

EVERYBODY was special in NXT, then they’ll come to the main roster and dabble in a little bit of this, or a little bit of that. The roster is too big for everyone to be in top spots and everyone seems to be getting a turn (don’t quote this with “BuT rOmAn ReIgNs...”). I think he’s fine doing what he’s doing atm, you should only be worried when Michael Cole stops yelling “BÁLOR CLUB” at the start of his entrance, that’s when you know he’s in trouble lol

Nothing is wrong with Balor.
He's doing fine.
Just because somebody isn't champion doesn't mean they've been ruined.

It would make sense from a legacy standpoint for a lot of these guys to leave and go the TNA/NJPW/RoH or 2 of the three. They would get pushed better and have more freedom. People like Balor and Joe just get crap on by the company creatively. Same with a Roode or a Gallows/Anderson.

well, without Darren Young to fill out the quota, Finn Balor had to take his place

On one hand, I really wish they would turn NXT into a legit third brand instead of pushing everyone up to Raw and Smackdown where there's no current space for anyone.
On the other hand I can almost feel that promoting NXT into direct third brand competition to Raw and Smackdown, it will get overproduced just like Raw and Smackdown and then we'll lose a great show.
A big ole' red flag should be waving for someone in WWE though when you take a guy like Balor from the longest reigning (and arguably most popular) NXT Champion and turn him into the guy jobbing out every guy on the main roster.

Balor will get his dues eventually, that is if he isn't injured by then

I am just not happy with the fact that he is being put in the tag and multi man matches to eat the pins. But they did have him beat Corbin at Extreme Rules so I’m not to worried about it. Although I personally wish he could get another crack at being the Universal Championship only because we never got to see what his championship run would have been had he not got injured. So I do think it’s only right that they give him the opportunity now that he’s healthy. Even if it’s just a one or two month reign I feel he deserves that.

Not a fan of the smiling at all. He was special in NXT. He will probably go down as the most anticipated call up from NXT. The injury really derailed him. They strapped the rocket to him and he got hurt immediately.
I remember at Wrestlemania thinking if Rollins and Miz come out first, he’d come out as the Demon for sure. What a let down that was. Now I could care less about him. It’s sad

I knew he wasn’t going to be the Demon at WrestleMania. The entrance ramp is way to long for him do do the demon entrance. As great of shape that he is in he’d still be gassed by the time he got to the ring.

Because unfortunately (or not) a lot of what Baron Corbin has been saying about him is correct. Hes tiny, there's no way around that. Hes cut yes, but very small (insert Rollins joke here) so its hard to even see him around the same level as an AJ Styles. Beyond that, is his character supposed to be gay, or just accepting of everyone? Because I believed the latter but he has a strange fascination of baby oil videos and pictures of his naked ass crack on insta/twitter. Its extremely difficult to go from that, to the Demon (I refuse to call him Demon King, hes not a reject from the mummy movies).

Not the same at all though. I don't really think theres been a time in AJ's tenure in WWE that he's been booked terribly.

I'm not going to invest a whole lot of energy into this post, but I think he's very safe where he is. Balor is highly marketable, and he's someone who can be pushed and put in a large role at a moment's notice. From the way he's been booked, I think he'd flourish on SDL like an AJ Styles, where he doesn't have to directly compete with the Reign's and Triple H's/Cena's of yesterday.

As great of shape that he is in he’d still be gassed by the time he got to the ring. In all honesty the Demon entrance is possible down long ramps, he could either cut down on the crawling and walk most of the way (which wouldn’t be bad as long as he moved in a mithodical way) or they could use a trap door half way down the ramp to raise him up similar to the one Taker used at WM33 after the match. I haven’t minded not seeing the Demon much on the main roster, the whole “Demon King” term they use now is annoying. The whole Bálor Club LGBT theme for Mania was random and out the blue though.

The coolest part about Balor was the demon. He's a good rassler but character wise he's nothing special.

He's doing exactly what I expected him to do once he got to the main roster. Building houses. Just like his Da Club brethren. You guys still excited to see The Elite show up?

He should be lucky he’s a main event player on Raw. Roode is a straight up jobber at this point
